It went away after my thousandth match against survivors who used my kindness against me, then t-bagged me on the way out the gate (or waited out the entire ECG timer waiting for the chance to t-bag me), and topped it off with a "GGEZ" or "Trash killer; uninstall."
The truth is that the survivors who deserve to go against nice killers are those who are mature enough that they don't view the killer's actions as a personal attack, and so they aren't ever going to think you're terrible for just playing the role of killer well.
Never vs wannabe tournament swfs
However, if everyone is playing well and doing their best, then I don't feel bad at all (especially if they are doing a great job with long chases and saving one another repeatedly) They played well, I tried my best and whether it's a 4k or not, I don't feel bad at all.
(In all seriousness sympathizing with the people your meant to kill just shows your a decent person)
I’ve loved every match against Chucky because he’s so fun, talkative and I only play as Ash so it’s so in character for those two to end up crossing paths at some point, to the point Chucky even recognises Ash and Nic Cage in the lobby and comments on it. Had a hilarious match last night where me as Ash Williams in his summer shirt saw Chucky running at him in the RPD, ran off, jumped 3 stories down the stairwell, jumped into a locker then clobbered him with the door when he ran past all while Chucky was laughing and ranting the whole time
No mercy, unless they have a suicide on first hook or something.
Also survs are used to dying, sacrificing themselves for others, etc. They are not expected to get out of a trial unscathed. Even if I get sandbagged by team I am like whatevs and queue up for the next match.
The only time I'll feel bad is if I see someone ratting out another player to try and save themselves. Do that, and I'm definitely sticking you on the hook first.
I got ratted out by another survivor recently. After unhooking them and healing them, the killer came near so I hopped in a locker. The idiot showed the killer where I was, and my altruistic play was rewarded with treachery.
When I realize im just stomping them. I slow down a bit. Let them pop some gens. Extend chase and break more pallet. Easy mode aint fun. I'm not stepping on ants and then laughing my ass off outside. It's just a damn game. Nobody cares how good you are at dbd.
Nobody's here thinking. Wow, this person is really damn good. He must have a good life.
Jesus . Go outside and touch some grass.
Not when the whole objective as a Killer is to kill people. I struggled with this feeling as a Killer... felt bad hitting them, hooking them (not if they were a ♥♥♥♥ to me and deserved it)
As a Survivor. I felt belt for the Killers
My feelings are all over the place. I blame having a soul for that. If you've ever watched Supernatural and saw the episode of Sam with no soul. you'd understand.
But if I'm getting looped hard and the team clearly knows where they're doing then it's just a game of skill versus skill. If they out play me so be it. If I'll play them that's my reward. I don't do anything crummy or cheap
I love playing Killer, sometimes when working on Tome requirements I'll take it easy on Survivors, but most of the time I down and hook as many as I can catch, absolutely love it, I like to surprise them when they are working on the totems or glyphs because that's when they are most vulnerable and I especially like it when I can torture them on the hooks; that's what keeps me coming back to the DBD game, the thrill of the hunt, chase then the sacrifice and torture, pure adrenaline rush.
