Are Killers Really Getting 60% Kill Rates???
I saw a post about this and I thought I would share my opinion on the topic. I play survivor and killer pretty evenly, when friends are on I play survivor with them, when no one is on I play some killer, so I feel I can have an unbiased view on the topic.

I think 60% just is not accurate. There are 4 survivors per game, so if each survivor has 40% win rate, that is really 160% win rate, which is ridiculous. To just equal it out killers will need an 80% win rate just to be even with the survivors, so if the desired kill rates for killer is higher than the survivors escape rate I think it should be a 90% kill rate, 10% escape rate, because between the 4 that is 40% to 60%. This is just basic math I'm providing here. As someone who plays both sides this seems more fair to me, and to new killers as well that probably are struggling, and to long time players it will just put them on a more even playing field.

but that means survivors have almost 200% escape chance per trial

No no you gotta look at it like this:
If you divide the root of 4 survivors by 60% and multiply that by the killers 179% that basically equals the 6.2% escape rate of the one survivor, of course you gotta divide that by 4 and then i think if im not wrong here you gotta subtract that from the kill rates so that makes 44% which can be rounded down to 40%, of course that needs to be shuffled so the next cards won’t be the same as last rounds so you by the red house, sink the ship on B3 then call uno and that all goes together to the number 7.
Im not sure what the 7 means but hopefully I’ll figure it out eventually, I’ll let you know if i do👍

that's not how it works, each person is threated individually: for survivors: they have a 40% chance to escape. while for killer they on average kill 60 / 100 survivor.

a draw is 2 survivors escaping, a win for killer is 3/4 kills but a win for survivor is individual you either escape or not

this is just simply wrong, if just 1 survivor escapes all survivors still lose, the classic soloq distortion calm spirit wake up survivor meta where 1 person hides and gets hatch still is a loss for everyone but the killer lol, survivor is a team roll

no even for mmr as survivor you gain mmr if you escape and you lose it if you die, the outcome of the team doesn't matter. also by logic a draw is balance, so 50% kill rate which is a draw in a game is what the kill rate should be on average to have a balanced game not 80% review your math

just answering your out of place comment that just highlights you don't know what to say anymore cuz you realized you are wrong

It's all in low to mid-range MMR. If you half way know what you're doing and understand the basic fundamentals of the game, getting 3-4k per game is actually pretty easy. And, considering 80% of the playerbase is in that low range MMR category, it's not a surprise.
