Crashing when the game is about to start

I've gotten into 5 lobbies now where my game has crashed. I was playing for hours without any issues now all of a sudden its crashing consistently. I restarted my game and my computer and it has still crashed. Last resort is verifying files.

Game is constantly crashing for me too. Unplayable. I managed to trace down one of the errors to the "Player Status" component. The devs messed something up.

Reinstalling did not work either, nor did changing the graphic drivers.

Are you trying to do a challenge that assigns you random perks? i was having this exact problem a few hours ago and what apparently was causing it was this. Otherwise I was able to open the game and everything, but sitting in the countdown would crash me.

I cannot even load to the menu. It instant crashes.

Edit: It seems to be related to EasyAntiCheat. DBD crashes as soon as EAC loads. Reinstalling EAC did not fix it.

It seems running on a fresh windows install fixed it.

same i started having it when i selected that challenge
