Can we get the hook screams turned down please?

This is literally my biggest issue with the game. Nothing else i play has a sound issue, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ most of the survivors when hooked scream so damn loud it hurts my ears at half volume. For reference, every other game i play at maxed volume with no issues, including this game. EXCEPT when someone is hooked. I have to stop what i'm doing and hit mute. That is a problem.

Tab in and out of the game whenever you hook someone, I know, not ideal, but it works

Or just press m1 after a hook... its ideal and doesnt require an alt tab

I got so used at running the game at half volume that I didn't realise they could just adjsut this.

I've put DbD headset volume at 30% ever since the Chapter 18 Elodie scream bug busted my ear drum

Oh yes, this is so bad. On some survivors its even worse than on others.

On my headset it is fine because i play at 30 volume but when im recharching it and i play on earphones.... I often pinch my eyes.

Ive also wanted this since years. Its obnoxious to have to window out of DbD each time you get hooked or hook someone for a second just because the Screams are so loud

Pro Tip hitting a survivor on hook ( albeit lil toxic :P ) instantly mutes their screams. But i do agree especially when you hook like a rebecca and she does like a full on 30 second long scream.

I play every other game at max volume but DbD I have to turn down whenever I start it up. I agree the survivor volume could use a separate setting.
