Crashing so many times
Plz fix, have had like 20 crashes in the last 24 hours. Maybe more.

Yeah same for me too after the new update i cant play anymore as i get this fatal error when i load in the main menu

Playing as killer seams to crash me too.. I am starting to think its a player DCing the killer to win the game because survivors still get their points when a killer is DCed and gets 0 points. and then if it happens to many times killer gets a nasty penalty waiting longer and longer each time the DC happens.
This opens a window for evil survivors to cheat and DC a killer if they know they are about to loss or have it out for the killer and still want the point win.

Dead by daylight should make it so survivors dont get points too to stop this attack. Also to stop killers from camping should make it so soon as you click to unhook a survivor you and the survivor become unfazed "(cant see them in game short time)". and immuned for a very short time after so they can get away. This would stop all killer camping due to killer cant find or hit them after hooking.

And I think you don't know how are the constant/repetitive bugs from BHVR after all their updates...
And sometimes it takes years to be solved...

Go to your Windows search bar and type "cmd", right-click on Command Prompt and click Run as administrator

Type "sfc/scannow" in the Command Prompt and press enter, wait for the verification process to complete

Any files repaired in the process will be shown, once it is done, try playing the game again

Also if this doesn't work go to browse local files through steam and delete the EAC file then verify the files for your game restart PC then launch game as admin.

Going to try this above fix from boostedbilly soon but before, i want to mention I am getting this issue after updating to the latest NVIDA driver. Just tried reinstalling it so will see if I have any luck. My friend hasn't installed this latest driver yet and they do not crash. Possible fix could be reverting to prior driver version. Still yet to test. Let me know if anyone has any luck elsewhere. Crash suggests for me a Direct X issue.

Tried the fix where you remove the EAC (easyanticheat) from the DBD folder and the verify files, this did not work unfortunately. I then tried reverting to the previous graphics driver version for NVIDIA and still I have the issue. Only other thing which recently change was that I came back from the PTB version to regular? I am out of ideas sorry :(

Another thing to check (if you haven't already) - If you're on Windows 11 make sure you have all the latest Windows updates (ignore any labelled as 'preview' - there was a recent update that broke things, and it's been fixed now.

I had constant crashing for weeks a few months ago. It was totally fixed by disabling the steam overlay and editing the registry to add a delay to let the graphics card catch up

This solution is for battlefield 4 but it 100% cleared up my crashing

I had the unreal engine has been removed or something similar if that helps
