Chucky's Slice & Dice no longer has basic attack's effects?

Am I from an alternate timeline where Slice & Dice would trigger Franklin's Demise and take advantage of the Exposed status, or did they just change it recently? I can't find anything in the patch notes, but I could swear it used to work like that.

Well that's the weird thing; I'm pretty sure I could down survivors exposed by Friend 'Til The End in one shot using S&S up until recently. I was even surprised S&S counted as a basic attack and felt it was a bit overpowered even.
I might really be from an alternate timeline. Help.
