no shared perks on new killers?

I haven't opened the game in a few months, and I noticed that in the new killers I got (e.g. spirit) can't have certain specific shared perks, like devour hope or remember me (specifically all perks from killers I don't own). Is there any explanation on this? My old killers received the above perks instead.

EDIT, I specify that these perks are the ones bought from the shrine of secrets

Your killers have to be prestige 1 to share their perks. Killers you don't own, perks you won't get at all.

Not True - you can still get Perks from Killers you don't own via Shrine of Secrets.

All perks from killers you don´t own ... yes that is normal. You need the killer to have the perks. And the killer has to be on prestige 1 to unlook them on all killers.
Also you can buy perks on the shrine of secrets.

yes, i got them there, still can't acquire them to new killers that I bought, like the spirit. I can add screenshots if needed

the problem is that I bought them from the shrine, in fact i can use devour hope with the nurse for example, but not for the spirit (newly bought killer)

In order to obtain a killer's perks for all other killers, they must be prestige 1,2, or 3. Each prestige (up to 3) gives you one of their perks for use on all other killers.

Perks share at prestige 1, becoming available instantly on all other subsequent characters.
At Prestige 2, the second level is automatically unlocked on all characters.
At Prestige 3, the perk is maxed out automatically on all characters without the need for exploring bloodweb.

You gain all of their perks as "Teachables" now at prestige 1; the previous system required you to prestige to get only one perk to be available in the bloodweb. Now you automatically will already have that characters perks at rank 1 if you prestiged once, and at max rank at prestige 3.

Prestige 4, 5, and 6 give bloody prestige cosmetics. Prestige 7, 8, and 9 give trinket/hook decorations based on the icons of perks related to the character.

If you don't own a character, you can still obtain their perks through Iridescent Shards at the Shrine of Secrets, working the same way as if you prestiged that character to the respective level. (IE, you gain Lightborn through shrine, you have it on all killers at rank 1, regardless of bloodweb progression, and can upgrade it through bloodweb progress)
