You said it yourself OP. "Plunderer's Instinct."
This raises the chance of getting a usable key pretty tremendously.
It goes from 7% to 14%, and the odds that it will be usable are 'probably' around 46%.
So yes, the dice is rolled a few times, but it's not 'that' unlikely. I've done it a few times as I run plunderers as a solo build instead of bringing items. (Because hell if I trust solo groups.) and I have, more than once, gotten a usable key.
It's possible and more likely with Plunderers. I've had games where the killer has burned an Ebony Mori and we got out because someone found a key. That's usually what survivors will do when they're in a tight spot because there's at least some chance of finding a purple key.
I'm sitting on a stack of 50 on my Pig who I recently bit the bullet and went P3 for. I don't even go out of my way to get them.
It's kind of a big meme now how common they are in bloodwebs.
Yeah I never said they were rare. I said the survivors get to find their, imo, broken mechanic mid game while killer needs to use a offering.
Didn't say you did, but using an offering isn't that big of a deal because you could use one almost every game and not really run out.
In my opinion Ebony Moris are much more comparable to pre-nerf BNP and instaheals than to keys, but currently yes they both should be changed.
