Please Turn Off Cross Play
Before anyone says anything, the answer is no, the solution is not to just turn off cross play in the settings. If you turn that off, you will not get any matches whatsoever.

Console players are a nightmare when it comes to solo survivor. They consistently DC right after they get down'd regardless of how good or bad they play. I have maybe one or two normal matches every ten matches. This happens as both survivor and killer for me. It has been nothing short of a miserable experience and I would love it if Steam/Windows players were seperated from console players.

The other issue with console players is how incompetent they are. I'm not asking for a sweat fest every single match from either side, but it would be nice to get saved before I hit second state for once. The third issue is lag. Console players have a consistent 120+ ping and I'm assuming it is because they all play on Wifi.

I'm simply asking for a better experience with DBD. I don't care about winning or losing THAT much, but I would like to at least PLAY the game for what it is instead of dealing with the above. If I wanted to deal with console players, I would have bought DBD for a console platform. I play on PC specifically to avoid the console scene.

why cant u give them more time to get used to their new rivals and teammates, console players are more casual and now that theyre getting destroyed by pc players they may try to improve, since they are not gonna be able to play without getting destroyed

I don't think people who consistently DC as soon as they get down'd care at all about improving their self in DBD.

imo console players are fine. i only had 7 matches with dcs in the last 50+ matches and 4 of them were pc players.

what you gotta understand though is console players's playstyle. remember they are used to having facecampers every game, so they mostly focus on gens, they won't go for saves too often if it's risky and imo that's pretty good.

if you don't like playing with console players just turn crossplay off and q for an hour. whining won't get you far.

You do get matches, what do you mean? I have been playing with crossplay off all day. Just takes about 10-15 minute wait. Worth it imo since I hate crossplay. Now if you are talking about the wait for a killer I could see the wait being maybe bad? But most of the time survivors are waiting in a lobby for a killer. Hell, I only play crossplay as killer since its easy kills for ranking up. However, with that said I do agree that I feel their crossplay choice was a bad one. It just isnt enjoyable anymore with it. But there isnt much to happen at this point, its in the game I doubt they will remove it at this point.

killer qs take less than 10 secs since crossplay.

My comment was if you turned it off, I know they are super short for Crossplay. Its why I have been playing killer lately because its fast and easy kills.

I would gladly pay 20$ for a DLC that would allow to filter off SWF just like you can with crossplay.

Be glad you at least have the option to avoid them...

I don't dodge SWFs, I'm not scared of good players. I only dodge players that have been rude in post game chat. Besides, most SWFs that I'm not friends with aren't as good as you think.

10-15 minutes is too long of a wait for one match.

right, get out of low ranks first. My last 4 game with first down in 30 secs, but these console player finish 5 gens in 5 mins. With only one tool I can see. I am wondering these console players have faster healing and repairing speed.

My personal theory is that everyone wants to think their console has better players, I cannot remember a single good PC player, but I could've had some and just don't remember them.
And since this is the steam forum, everyone is JircleCerking themselves saying PC players are million times better.

couldn't be more right. although, it's true that console killers are kinda bad because of the controls, and that playing at 30fps makes console players a little bit sloppy mechanicaly speaking. but this infinite circlejerk would have happened even if they were good. this kids love to birtch about everything. it being killers, console players, perks or whatever.
