Pin Dead by Daylight to TaskBar

My apologies if this is the wrong section to post this, but does anyone know how to pin the game to the taskbar?

I want to keep my desktop "clean" and would prefer to have game icons on the taskbar.

drag and drop the icon onto the task bar?

Right click the game in Steam and under properties find 'Browse Local Files'.
Find deadbydaylight.exe and right click it.
You can pin it from there.

I tried that method and when i get to the screen where it says "press to enter", it says that i am offline and need to be online...."

Admittedly i play this game "offline" i.e. i set my status is invisble, so i dont want to show my status as online i'll try that and see if that helps.

I tried that but it pins the Steam application instead of Dead by Daylight.

That means the game is launching itself without Steam. It sometimes does that if you open directly from the .exe.

Try right clicking the game and instead selecting 'create desktop shortcut'.
Then, pin that to the taskbar instead.
Shortcuts always launch the game through the Steam client.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, i followed those steps and i get the same issue, it says i am "offline".

I'll just stry to set my status as online and then do those steps you outlined again and see if that helps, but i really wished i could keep my status on steam as invisible.
