This game keeps crashing, crashing ,CRASHING!!!!!!!!!
The game I have been playing for 3 years has been crashing constantly for the last 6 months... behaviour IT's says ''please lower your settings'' come one maaan!!! i have 1050ti- 16gb ram and i7 th8 and 16gb ram... I set this game to the lowest settings and it still crashed. (1024X535 and full lowest settings = andThe result is crashes and more crashes)....We talked about this problem many times via e-mail and you did nothing...I think you earn money without doing anything, just like municipal officials...I'm restraining myself from cursing you because of a game I love so much.

Did you check your temps?
Lord Farquaad Jan 28, 2024 @ 1:53am
Yes, I checked the files many times on Steam. I deleted the game and reinstalled it... I'm currently trying to play the game at 900x600 60fps and it crashes again.

Are you getting the crash report when the game crashes to desktop? This could give the error code that is causing it to crash or is it just closing to desktop without the crash reporter showing?

I already dropped a bunch of reports on BHVR forums, via "tickets", mails, etc. - I STILL KEEP CRUSHING WITH UE ERROR ON FRI1KING MCMILLAN ESTATE MAPS! Like.. WHYY?? Other maps dont have that problem, I could handle all of them except McMcillan... At least I'm DC as Killer on first 30secs-5mins of match MAX, nort suffering much (макачья игра still gaves me "Left" penalties and minuses my offerings\addons that I brings...)

I know you've most likely already done these, but here are a few pointers of things that might help:
- Make sure windows is updated to the newest patch
- Make sure your graphic cards drivers are updated
- Try checking the files one more time.
- Try completely re-installing the game.

If none of these help:
Do any other games crash for you, or is it solely dbd?

Also, as a former answer states - posting your crash/error code and description could be a great help in giving you pointers :)

Yes, I sent these bug reports to behavior

It seems to be working fine now:
- I reinstalled the game (again)
- I verified the files (again)
- I'm playing with the graphics recommended by nvidia (again)
- I turned off auto scaling (I think this was the problem)

Thanks everyone, I'll let you know if it happens again

Cheers from Türkiye

If you noted down the error code we could have looked to see what was causing the crash. I remember a few years ago my anti virus was causing my game to crash and it showed the file in the error code. If you get it again, note the code down and maybe we can help by taking a look.

Do you have any overclock on your GPU like through MSI Afterburner or something? Because this error is usually from an unstable overclock and If so revert the overclock and also you should do a clean re install of your graphics card driver. If you need any help on how to do that just ask and I can help with that.

Thanks Morbid, I don't have any overclocking on my system. I have some editing projects on my laptop right now, so I can't risk updating the driver. Currently the game crashes very rarely, if it happens frequently I will reach out to you.
Thanks again Cheers

This is often an issue with a corrupted Windows file, therefore I would recommend performing these steps below;

1.Go to your Windows search bar and type "cmd", right-click on Command Prompt and click Run as administrator

2.Type "sfc/scannow" in the Command Prompt and press enter, wait for the verification process to complete

3.Any files repaired in the process will be shown, once it is done, try playing the game again
