Is suiciding on hook a bannable offense?
I just had a match where my entire team killed themselves on hook and got it recorded. Just asking before I send a ticket that leads nowhere.

I have 700 hours in this game but I still don't have a clue how some survivors can die on the hook under 5 seconds. I guess they are talented individuals. The answer to you question is probably "no", you better off if you just turn a blind eye to it and not waste time bothering to report them.

unfortunately, it isn't. But taking in mind that it literally is griefing the match, i don't see a reason why it shouldn't be

Nope. There are perks tied to attempting on hook and this game is an rng based game. As long as there's an option to attempt, even without the perks related to it people have the freedom to try any time they like. Might be frustrating, but it's like being upset they didn't play the way you wanted.

Idk, is it a bannable offense that mates/killer make my game experience so bad that I want to quit the round as fast as possible and move on with a more fun round? Why would I waste my spare time with such rounds? 700hr dbd Karen at its finest.

Sadly, instead of playing something else, they'll probably just take your advice and cry harder.

no and they've said it never will be bannable, so yes, your complaints will go absolutely nowhere

It's very, very rare that I'll kill myself on hook. But, yesterday I was playing with randoms and I was first on the hook. 2 of the others spent the whole time going in and out of lockers and crouching. The other stood at the far end of the map, teabagging whenever I flapped my arms. All I could do was attempt to kobe. Didn't work. So I hung on a bit more in stage 2, but the rest of the team made it clear they weren't interested in saving me, so suicide it was.

No, it's not bannable.

It is the biggest issue in solo-que by far I'll agree and extremely bad taste, and I'd not mind it's own little MMR where people that always suicide on hook gets to play with their mirror selves while the rest of us that can enjoy a hard match or an early setback play with those willing to stick around.

Yes, it's totally Karen-like behavior wanting to play a real match but having it ruined by people who want don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about others and throw the match because things didn't go their way instead of just leaving a bot.

You 2 got really bent out of shape because of this post. Tell me you suicide on hook on first down without telling me.

this mindset here is what is destroying soloQ the most.
selfish behavior where people don't care about their teammates at all because "omg my fun requirements for this match haven't been fullfilled".
One question, how would you feel in a game of soloQ where someone else in your team does this?

its the killers fault for hooking the survivor
