Whats with the huntress throwing axes across the map at me?
Brand new to the game, have no idea if this a hack or perk or whatever, but theres no issue with any other killers like this.

most matches we face the huntress, we get her spamming axes across the map landing right beside us. Is this "heat seeking" type axe her perk, or is she just wall hacking while throwing them?

the reason it seems so weird is that theres no indication that we are in a specific spot, and the axe will land right by us or hit us from un unreal distance away. The killers im unsure about also have no reveal type perks

That's how she's played by skilled players: wild guessing and throwing hatchets across the map. They're equally shocked if they land those hits. Best thing to do is to keep moving because they now know your exact spot and will replicate those hatchet shots.

But no, not a hack + you need more info to determine hacking when it comes to a Huntress.

some huntress players love to try hatchets like this especially with bbq but its risky and hitting that long distance hatchets not that common against decent players aswell

If they have Aura reading perks I would say Skill and a lot of luck.

If there's no aura reading perks, where are you? what are you doing?
She can see the lit hex totem.
She can see the generators.
She can see the hooked survivors.

Are you somewhere that it could be a fairly skilled shot and a wild guess hoping to hit somebody? Or are they throwing 2/3/4 hatchets even when they miss?

Without more information I would just assume they're getting lucky.

well definitely don't be like the video "Huntress Main = Cheater" on yt. because as much as the comments praise this person we can see horizontal drift is locked and only the vertical axis is applicable.(software manipulation through mouse suite). further the angle and distance is usually the same but the perks continue to change match to match. this person is running an overlay, as a huntress main that's capable of hitting shots like this would never set up shots like these.

that video is in fact a person whose actually telling you they have engineered an advantage. whether any cheats were installed or not.

alot of huntress mains will have a crosshair pulled up and understand to aim up. is it cheating? in any other game eac would stop you or ban you, yes. in this? guess not. lol bhvr.

huntress is in a weird spot right now as cheaters like playing her and randomly "finding" people while she's a lullaby killer. some have thousands upon thousands of hours. so there's some out there that are just awesome without all that.

even so, there are some crosshair programs that are detected and close dbd. so they buy a red dot like hip shot dot.

Wouldn't worry about it, huntress is a very weak killer anyways

Watch some of the better huntress players and you'll see how it's done.

The ones that have just about every single map and all it's variants memorized, they can land a hatchet wherever they want through 1000s of hours of playing her, and aura-reading perks. Combine that with being able to guess correctly most of the time how survivors will react some of them are able to land hits like that regularly.

Almost definitely not hacks. Good killers will know roughly where survivors are or will probably be. If she thinks a gen is likely being rushed, of course she's gonna throw a couple of axes at it. Moreover, killers have access to 'aura reading' perks such as bbq and chilli, which will briefly let her see where you are and chuck a few axes across the map. It's hard to hit, but good huntress players will keep taking the chance to a) apply pressure and b) potentially wound you.

You know most Monitors today come with a Inbuild Crosshair? If you call this or physically adding a crosshair cheating you have no clue lmao. Overall i would ignore everything you just said

cross hair you cant do nothing about sadly as there built in to the monitors now days mine has 8 options and i use it all the time. EAC and VAC can and never will be able to stop or turn off your cross hairs from your monitor. People don't run Cross hair programs they just use there monitor. Not saying people don't cheat as they do in any game.

Cross map snipes are what all huntress mains strife to do, they got 1 crossmap shot and now they want to practice them over and over again, if they know the map layouts well they'll also know exactly where to throw the hatchets in order to hit you.

There are tons of perks that help with those, but also just general map knowledge can make huntress mains hit early. Artist can do that stuff aswell, but she has to hit twice in a row.

So killers like that do exist in DBD, aint no cheating. Unless its hoaming hatchets ofc but you'd notice that.

my monitor has built in crosshairs as well. if you label using a device to do something unintended as anything but cheating i suggest you go play chess with Hans Niemann. giving yourself an edge is wrong no matter how you do it. time to grow up and learn that.

many eac games will dump you to desktop after warning you about the crosshairs. battleye will outright strike you if you enable it repeatedly after force closing your game. an example would be fortnite. you run the risk of losing your account.

so what do people do? red dots. hip shot dot, truedot, things like this. a usb crosshair or use their monitor. we know it's wrong and yet they'll do it.

as for the huntress mains finding people... that's just wallhacks. especially on maps with lots of lockers or the meat packing plant is a great example.
