Why are you asking us why these people put him in A? Content creators usually have a whole video explaining their process.
His power does many small things.
And 2 of his perks are strong. Especially FTTE.
[edit: look at achievements]
Blinding him at a pallet is nearly impossible because his line of sight changes (and is hidden behind the pallet at the beginning,) and you're at a severe disadvantage when he picks up survivors because you can only estimate where Charles' head will be when he stands up.
I honestly can't believe they released him in this state.
1) I loved Child's Play & back in the day saw the first 2 movies in theaters so was always going to get him based just on that.
2) As killer I don't actually kill survivors, don't care about 'winning' I LOVE to chase survivors & get tremendous satisfaction & reward out of JUST hitting a survivor trying to outloop me.
So...with those two points in mind I LOVE Chucky as a killer. His short stature, makes playing mind games at loops fun. As I also will play survivor I can at times guess what they will do. Use his size to advantage here.
He's hard to see in grass etc. Though this also at times makes it hard for me to see too. Again with 2nd point in mind I built him for finding and chasing survivors. Perks I have on him are, Sloppy (once hit blood trails easy to see/follow) Whispers, Nurses Calling and the alien one where get auras while opening a locker (forget the name)
At start of match head towards the opposite end where you know survivors will be. When Whispers lights up I know I'm close. I can often guesstimate where they will be (look for closest generator) if not open a licker to pinpoint direction. Once fairly certain of where to find first survivor, I enter hidey ho mode before getting too close, hoping for a sneak attack. Usually via regular attack as still can't reliably hit with a slice & dice. But isn't really needed as once hit with regular attack sloppy kicks in & can either easily follow for another hit& possible down for hook or hit another. The more injured the more play you get from Nursers calling. If I do manage to get hooks I try not to hit ok past 2nd one.
As said it's the chase I love so the build I just outlined works for me. Add ons I use ones that extend hidey ho or recover faster from missed slice & dice. As said have a VERY hard time aiming it & am far more likely to use it to close the gap between a survivor & myself than to actually try & hit one lol.
Again that build works for me & I find I get a LOT of mileage with it out of Chucky, sometimes fooling survivors at loops that would be harder with a another survivor.
Not to be that guy but you know.... get good? It's not enough to run them from loops. You have to be able to predict their movements. At 125 hours you don't have that learned skill yet.
And currently Chucky has a 57.54% kill rate and 31% all four survivors, which both are higher that even Wesker and Blight at this point who many consider OP.
It works both ways, if their pnly contribution to a conversation is an attempted shut-down without any actual points made I don't really need to take them seriously.
Also predicting survivors, while it comes with experience, there isn't THAT much to change the game up with an additional thousand on top, where most of the game has also changed massively.
I can concede that I suck at gaming the shack without an M2 killer, window is easy to bait with a ranged attack, but as Chucky doesn't have that I do rate him lower personally, but overall I find him way too situational in an objective way to question the high ranking of others.
Other than the start, if you can't tell my MMR then you can't debunk my claim with it either, it could very well be higher than expected, can I apply to the tool myself so it shows it to us in this chain?
Also thanks for bringing out stats for the killer, you're now the 1% (didn't run the math) of people who claimed my hours and added something to converse.
But I'd love to check those numbers in late January when every working person has had a good chance to play the game to balance the stats.
Didn't find the original post conversation-worthy but yes it did strike me odd how simple yet drawn back the ability is compared to pretty much every extended attack killer/undetectable killer, granted it does both but how good is a jack-of-all in a world of specialists.
