Yeah, but I really don't think builds that "encourage" you to just run around and do nothing are healthy. Same with Elite 69 420 xXx chasemasters that are in killer's face the entire game and end it with 11k BP. It's just super frustrating to have someone like that on your team.
Once holding a gen all match gets boring, Survivors go on the hunt for trolling opportunities; their own entertainment at the cost of everyone else's!
most killers will instantly pick you up negating the entire build with 0 effort, you actually need the killer to be distracted for a couple seconds straight to even have a chance for a power struggle play
Also I think that’s the point of plot twist; to fake you out. If you didn’t down them yourself but you pick them up, that’s the perk working as intended I believe (as a heal or a fake out).
If you have two characters visually identical trying to fake you out, I don’t pick up unless I know for sure which one it is. Some people are identical as a tactic, others not. Sometimes visually identical ones will do this with other perks, like boil over, decisive strike etc. it didn’t bother me that they do it because it’s a valid tactic, but so is leaving them there.
Like many perks and strategies they can be annoying but there is usually a counter. Good luck! And sorry that you’ve dealt with this a lot.
I loved overcome + lucky break.
Sadly I find it so hard to keep it refilled through healing others though. May I ask if the clock stops “ticking” on the perk when you plot twist?
you still need to make enormous amounts of distance to get the plot twist play
30% of the incap bar is a really substantial non trivial amount
like 99% of scenarios would be hit surv -> he runs away to pallet -> plot twist -> you catch to him and pick him up since hes no more than 20% done at best
like i said other people have to be around to stop you from picking him up quickly so in a 1v1 scenario this build is mostly useless without some god rng of a window making killers take more than 5 seconds to go around
