it wont let me place when i can use dead hard is this a bug or how it is?

Probably because both of those action are on the same button. Just like when you want to heal a survivor under a pallet and you drop the pallet on the survivor.

no i have them on different buttons e and f , but no matter what it doesn't let me place it i just tired in another game. said i had the action but wouldn't let me place, only shows space im not sure why or whats going on :((

Chemical Trap was changed so that you have to stop doing the gen, then the option to place it appears.

You're thinking of Blast Mine. Chemical Trap is placed on dropped pallets

How is your LMB/RMB and Space the same button?

Some play survivor with a controller. For me its easier to play survivor with a controller specially when i need to look beind me. For killer its better with a mouse and keybord because the auto aim dont screw you over too much.

Fair enough, although then I question how they couldn't find enough buttons on a controller to map all survivor interactions to different things.
