For those who don't know the character it would be a chance to learn but also would be a character no different than say Trapper or Nurse or Blight. Just a cool character to play and if they make his power unique and interesting, people would purchase him
For those who know him, he would sell quickly. I never bought Alien nor do I have the little doll but I'd buy Angus in an instant.
Being an older license it also might be more affordable. Unfortunately with Angus having passed away, not sure how that would work for making a model or using lines from the movie.
you could be right, but if it´s not well known, the license wouldn´t be too expensive... means less risky
Tall Man such great and mysterios character. He has telekinesis ability, flying silver spheres, dwarf minions, super-strength etc. You can create interesting gameplay with this.
Also he should scream his iconic "BOOOY!".
A few months ago, I did a watch party with a few friends on Discord to watch Phantasm 1 -3. My member berries from childhood was that they were great films, super scary and the Tall Man was amazing. My recallations were that the first one was a lil more serious than the other two (like Evil Dead 1-3).
Well...
I was 100% wrong. Wooo doggie they were horrible. Like, yuck. Boring, nonsensical and not scary in the least. Methinks the films' director was under the impression that he made some sort of horror masterpiece/s. Blah. I apologized to everyone who attended the watch party.
Before the re-watch, I imagined that the Tall-Man could be like a combo Myers/Pinhead killer. The ability to slightly stalk but also send out the flying killer balls, semi-controllable like Pinhead's chains.
Side note: when I was a kid, I had this classical music CD that had liner notes written by Angus Scrimm. I was confused as to if it was the same person as the Tall-Man. Turns out IT WAS!
I am saddened that I pre-ordered/purchased the collector edition blu-rays of the first and second films... yuck
