the new developer update
ya'll arent going to be happy, i mean unless you're survivor:
STBFL-double nerf'd
gen kicking-limited amount of times you can kick the gens
Blight addons-nerf'd

What we get in return:
Hex: Ruin- doesnt deactivate when a survivor dies
The Onryo- looks like they just revert her back to her launch, removed TP CD
The Hillbilly- Replaced Overheat with Overdrive
Shadowborn-is basekit with settings, now perk give you haste after blind

may have a missed a few but those are what stuck out for me

that implies that in the average match a survivor is just going to take ♥♥♥♥ tons of hit to negate you out of spite on the off chance that you have stbfl - which most won't figure out till later. maybe you get a swf and the dude becomes the hero and just takes random hits all game. that would be the only thing that player does all game.

not to mention the WILD buff to grim embrace. run that with fixed ruin, corrupt intervention and nothing is getting done. im sorry killers got gold here just piles of gold.

i don't feel bad for blight players his add ons were broken and if you NEEDED them to get kills on him clearly you don't deserve those kills in the first place.
True, thats why i only pointed out the slight issue with STFBL change

Even the "8 regression cap" aint really an issue cause at what scenario would a gen get regressed more than 8 times other than a 3 gen with Surge and Pain Res
Or a new player that kicks every gen they see has any progress


Agreed. If you need to kick each gen 8 times per game. You have wasted the time you should of been killing people. Also with the new kick mechanic that is 40% total regression from just your kicks and almost a whole minute of time they need to work on it to get it to stop regressing after it has been kicked.

I do think the next update will be entirely Survivor based
Hopefully they add good ♥♥♥♥ like Proxy Chat or nerf ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like FTP Buckle

FTP and Buckle is a good combo. Don't nerf fun combos that is what causes watered down crap that currently exist. Don't take fun out of the game because it pisses you off once in a blue moon from a squad running it making it hard to get a 4k.
That's the same as calling for a nerf to background player because "it takes the skill out of flashlight saves". It's a fun combo. Leave it as is and play around it.

I can easily say I never want proxy chat.

The amount of ignorant players who have no clue how perks work what they are doing and can't deal with a simple first hook screaming in my ear sounds like a reason to never play this game.

Background player needs a nerf -- it lasts forever.

Background player last 10 seconds it doesn't need a nerf. Nerf background player nerf every killer haste perk in turn which last 10 seconds or longer with exception to batteries included if you're 12 meters from a gen.
Then nerf the haste effects from uncloaking on Wraith, teleporting on Onryo, Skull Merchant from drone scans and continue from there. Killers are already fast without haste from default speed then there's bloodlust and you have aura reading perks and add-ons depending on the killer.

And proxy chat would be bad I agree. What we need is the DBD mobile call out macros to help coordinate.

That's the thing, they wouldn't play solo because proxy chat isn't very helpful.

A fair amount of games handled VOIP just fine. Honestly I feel those who are negative about it act like mute function never existed. Something that comes standard in EVERY game that has a voice chat.

More macros than just pointing would be nice but I fail to see how Proxy chat wont be helpful

They do it on mobile why can't we have it on PC and console? You can see survivor perks in lobby on mobile but why not on PC and console?

Plus, its a multiplayer game, toxicity is part and parcel
Why gimp Solo Q just because someone may not like getting called a scrub on voice chat
And yes, they should also add in Survs seeing each others builds in lobby
