Does anyone know why when I enter the code in the menu, nothing happens?

If I recall you need to have either Cheryl or Pyramid Head selected as your surv/killer before doing the code in the menu for it to work

That's pretty weird, aside from trying that multiple times or restarting your game if you just bought the characters I am not sure what could be causing that since the charm should still be available as far as I know, worst case scenario I'd suggest messaging DbD support to figure that one out if nothing works

Do you have the full Silent Hill DLC or did you buy PH and Cheryl individually

Ok turns out this doesnt matter
Step 1) Have Pyramid Head and/or Cheryl as your selected characters
Step 2) Go back to the main menu, where it says Play as Killer/Survivor, make sure either Cheryl is the left most Survivor or PH is staring at the 4 Survs (Both also works)
Step 3) Do W W S S A D A D Right Click Left Click Enter, You should hear some arcadey sounding jingle
Step 4) Either complete a match or just exit then reopen the game
Step 5) Check your charms, it should now be in your inventory

all i had to do was select pyramid head and used the code on main menu
didn't purchase the DLC btw

Main thing is the fact, that it's not the OG konami code, but a weird variation with WASD and mouse clicks. Make sure you do that how the person I quoted said.
