Now I can understand if what you really mean was DS and BT were overpowered because you believe a survivor should be dead for being hooked once, and believe the other two times of being hooked is nothing more than an unintended mechanic. And Unbreakable being overpowered, that once a survivor is down, they should never get back up.
That is not accurate at all. Your entire argument reminded me of the old excuses from years ago, to be honest.

In case you don't recall, the old Decisive Strike wouldn't deactivate even after the survivor healed and went for a generator.

It led to several scenarios:

- Survivors unhooking others in the killer's face, abusing the combination of Decisive Strike and Borrowed Time. They wouldn't wait for the killer to leave; they would instantly unhook. Even if the killer didn't intend to tunnel, they were forced into it, or they were compelled to watch both survivors escape freely.
- The above situation resulted in the following scenario: If you decided to chase the unhooker, the unhooked survivor with Borrowed Time + Decisive Strike would body-block you, forcing you to hit him or waste time. And that's the "tunnelling" that would happen.
- You decided to wait for BT to end? Wasted precious time. Decided to knock him down? If you leave him, he'll recover with Unbreakable. If you catch him (your "tunnelling" again), you'll eat DS. If you wait for the DS to end, you'll waste far more precious time.
- The unhooked survivor would also repair generators literally in the killer's face. So, the killer would have to allow him to repair a generator or eat the DS.
- Knocking down a survivor several times due to DS and Unbreakable? Sounds fine, 4 generators repaired while you waste time catching the same survivor over and over.
- All generators repaired? DS still works during the Endgame Collapse, that's a free escape.

I could mention more scenarios, but that's enough. I haven't even included Dead Hard in the conversation. I'm fairly certain you are already aware of these abuses caused by Dead Hard, Decisive Strike, and Borrowed Time. Maybe you abused them too, and that's why you were trying to imply that "I believe a survivor should be dead for being hooked once."
try playing as killer then. wow, that's pathertic that you think being a survivor should be EASIER. playing as survivor is a joke.
