Ultimate Weapon isnt
They did a pretty good job so far.

Its synergy with other movement speed perks + perks that activate when injured was way too good as well.
Ultimate Weapon is broken in much the same ways. Paired with certain perks it offers way too much synergy and just does too much: gen control, survivor tracking, and a huge blind debuff with very little effort or counterplay available. (I hear killer mains keep going "CALM SPIRIT" but don't recall many survivors telling the killers complaining about MFT to just run a movement speed perk like Game Afoot themselves.)
Ultimate Weapon should not have a duration to it. It needs to proc *immediately* upon opening a locker and then go on cool down. Killers shouldn't be able to walk a small loop in the middle of the map and blind survivors / lock every gen.
Not to mention its unoriginal, we already have a location perk based around lockers from Dredge
With these numbers and 20 metre distance, it would take 71 seconds to catch
Without MFT and 20 metre, it would be 50 seconds
With 4.6m/s and 20 metre, it would be 33 seconds
EVERY over powered mechanic in EVERY competitive game gets balanced.
If you've played more than 1 online game, this should be common knowledge.
Find the new meta, when statistics say that it's literally never used anymore, they'll give it another look. Either that or every other perk will get nerfed enough it becomes useful again.
Or just wait for the next chapter, save up your iridescent shards, buy the characters for free and exploit the perks until they get nerfed too.
Or go play rock paper scissors with your shadow.
