Current state of dbd regarding hacker/cheater

So today I had a really scatchy game against a spirit.

I was not injured, not sprinting and he was in his ability and found my twice instantly hitting me. He said: "I have BBQ" but he chased me after no one was hooked. So this could not be an option. Then he claimed "you left scratch marks and I heard you". BTW i was not sprinting and he had addon were he can't see scratch marks. Also I was not injured, ofc he could heard me breath but I think thats very unlikely to happen twice in a row.

If you have a good headset and using Max 100% sound then you can hear anything! No I have not seen any hackers! Why would anyone need hacks in this game when they give you free hacks with perks and add-on's!

I will never understand why someone cheats in a game. There are plenty of videos on YouTube from people cheating in Dbd and showing their cheats or cheating against streamer.

Do you think its maybe possible they saw your scratch marks from far away and just had a hunch as to where you were?

I don't think so. Once, okay maybe he was lucky but twice ?! I think that's very unlikely to happen. I was not injured and I stopped sprinting and walked just you usually play against a spirit. What I haven't said yet, is that another survivor jumped into a locker before I was hooked and the spirit instantly went there.

Depends on how far they were and if they rushed into it (which gives the killer a noise notification from anywhere). If they werent close or they went in slowly then I guess thats a little suspicious.

it's possible they are cheating yes. there's quite a few killers out there walling. usually huntress. on spirit that wouldn't help so he might have left them on. it's less obvious than the survivors cheating because the killer is expected to find people. the killer you've got there in your screenshot is running something that makes no sense against campers. however... we can't see how you died. he could have just found you by looking around. report them for wallhacks/esp/cham glow. don't write in your report that they're just cheating. they won't investigate that.

the way wallhacks work is detectable if they investigate the player. there have been people in the competitive scene banned from the league discord and had their account struck for walling in this game. and no... they were not refunded for all of the dlc they purchased. lol

if it's legit, file the report ingame, don't shame in steam community.

Ofc I reported him. I wouldn't say it's shaming someone because you can't see his name (he turned on private settings). If there had been an user name, I would have censored it.

Can't see their second add-on, there is a chance they were running dried cherry blossom and were trolling you to purposely sound like a hacker.

Completely possible for them to be cheating but without seeing that second add-on dried blossom is definitely on the table

Yes, I also have a screenshot where you can see both addons but I didn't upload this one.

i've seen alot of hacks, subtle ones as well that do things their perks don't allow. Like clear a map in seconds and the survivor was uncatchable, with legion frenzy they were suddenly vaulted acrossed the map magically without anything in thier perks for speed but lithe.

I played as the Shape yesterday and had a Feng Min with Decisive, Self care,Dead Hard and Windows of opp pull a for the people/buckle up insta pickup at the end of the match.
That was obvious but It is worrying to think how many people are using these extra perks hacks subtly to just get that slight edge in game.

When I see clutch gameplay like that I ALWAYS look at their perks in the end and report them accordingly

If something doesn't get done about all this hacking and cheating I'll soon stop playing/uninstall. The fact Behaviour is more concerned with pushing new DLCs and not fixing said problems is concerning.
