Actually there very many smurf accounts active, to ruin the game experience of the player base. Intentionally they should play against players at their MMR rating, but by creating a smurf account, you can play as high MMR killer vs baby survivors and vice versa.

this isn't a game people want to smurf on. as there is nothing to unlock by progress except the bloody skins. maybe league or overwatch perhaps, but this game? no.

I see many games, where survivors dont touch any gens for the first few minutes while the killer has killed already a survivor. Seems balanced.

Watch any streamer who does escape-streaks/kill-streaks. They get beginners in their lobby, which means MMR isn't functioning properly, even in high MMR. Therefore smurf accounts don't have impact.

No sense complain on smurfing, because killers with 10 000 hours now can regularly get only beginners in lobby, if not sacrifice more than 2 survivor in match. Say thanks for it current MMR system and to who create such amazing system. If you as killer not want or not able sacrifice more than 2 survivors, then you need be ready play on bottom MMR very long time. And absolutely not matter how good are you in chases, in finding survivors and in protection generators

They do smurf and happy to admit it.

These couple of days there were strong ban waves and many of them were unfair with a complete ban of the PC (hwid ban) after the very first ban (according to the rules there should be more than 3 bans), so people began to play in a new account (cheap Microsoft accounts with a game pass) but with a spoofer. Therefore, there are a lot of sweaty players on low MMR (they start over), I don’t understand why the game doesn’t let you choose which MMR to pick (low, mid or high) to if you start over

what i'm reading is alot of survivors that don't understand exactly what was explained by bhvr.

1.more kills means higher mmr. whether a survivor is prestige or not does not matter. if they finished all the generators in their first bot matches - up they go. killer at a high level is likely to see them in the match because escape rate.
2.there is no reason to smurf.

as for the streamers, they're playing on their verified accounts. otzdarva does not play on a smurf. you can see his name in most of his videos if he doesn't just rip his twitch vids to upload to yt. if he's on twitch he does streamer mode.

there are no rewards for smurfing. and starting over a brand new account in this game for the sale price, no cosmetics, and no perks? yeah no. get out with all this. this entire topic should be locked for just being weird. that's like smurfing on super mario.
