Degrading performance
Watched Otzdarva literally turn off discord & steam overlay to play dbd at like less than 70FPS

With 32GB & 3900x & 2080super

Meanwhile I here noticed a big degrade.. I can't keep over 100 with RTX4060 & 5600x

Some maps such as Yamaoka, It's literally as bad as my friend with a 5600G API (about 57)

I tried different stuff, different Nvidia drivers

Overclocked my CPU To 4,8Ghz, undervolted GPU & CPU

Default settings, HPET on, HPET off, DX12 DX11

Gsync vsync whatever the hell is possible yet this game is just on another world.

Do you play with -Dx12 ?

Omg wait so it's happening to everyone? I legit thought my pc that could run it perfectly before at 120 Fps max setting constantly and then all of a sudden horrible fps, I have also noticed there's a memory leak due to checking fps it ends up hovering around 99-109 Fps even in the lobby where i was getting 120 constant but fixes itself after restarted the game then it slowly gets worse after a few matches resulting for me to restart the game to fix it

Unsure if It's a memory leak but the game is literally unplayable on some maps. On top of the DX11 lag at high FPS, DX12 "looks" smoother and it has higher FPS, but It just stutters a lot due to compilations (infinite compilation, i've tried using it for over a week going through all characters yet it still stuttered)

But speaking of myself at least, I'm not experienced enough to say It's a memory leak or such. DBD always been a sh*t game in terms of optimization, but not to this point lol.

Oh it for sure has some sorta Memory leak among other issues though only noticed the Memory leak since these recent patches, i've tested it quite a few times and noticed (strangely ) High ping like over 100+ can cause some sorta performance issues which when that persons gone or dead it's back to normal and second the memory leak of performance degrading over time but i'm just gonna say it's the spaghetti code

Doesn't the game get kinda funky once you go over 60 anyhow? I've always locked it to 62FPS.

Developers adding an FPS cap option of 120 implies that it should support it.

Played this game on 2k with low setting and got 120fps all the time with rarely drop below 110.

No, people have been playing the game for YEARS with 120+ fps, the only inconsistency that's been in the game is ~4 years ago they added some more flair to the inventory (Look at event items) and the smoke goes 2-3x speed, outside of that there's no issue in game,

they've just been lazy and took until like a month ago to add AA and FPS settings into the gui instead of having go edit the games ini

It's the same with many other games that lock to 60, there's an issue or 2, sometimes just graphical issues, but you can play with more than 60. Genshin as an example, sine launch in 1.0 the only issue I've noticed with unlocking the fps is in-game cutscenes the characters twitch back an fourth a tiny bit and that's it.

This has been my experience, - some stutters, but I think I'm due for a wipe and reinstall of all my stuff soon because I've been having a couple problems recently. or the games I've been playing recently have all been breaking something with updates.

I run at max settings 2560x1440 120 fps no drops. have you tried Nvidia driver 537.58? works like a charm for me,and fixed a plethora of other DBD issues including Blue Screening that only happened while playing DBD on 2 perfectly healthy PCs, and lowered frames

I built my new pc 2 weeks ago and this is the only game that has stutters, every other game runs flawlessly. My specs are i5 13600k, rtx 4070, 32gb ram, so this has to be poor optimization issue on bhvrs end

I have a 4060 and I did my best to optimize stuttering, I can maybe help you if you want.

But performance seems odd for me at least.
