I enjoy it as well. Killer or survivor. At first i hated it, but once i learned it a bit, i enjoy

Cause the map is fairly survivor sided, depending on the killer of course. Some killers do well but most wont. Its pretty good with pallets and windows.

I love RPD.
You're definitely not the only one.

Keep in mind. Even though I know this, as a killer main, I also like RPD alot

Honestly, I'm into it.

Though I enjoy getting DCs when I offer the RPD badge.

Oh yay, they are on the loop path full of long walled loops ending in god pallets.. wooo... so much skill on display here with all the shift W holding.

Because RPD isn't survivor-sided OR killer-sided; it's veteran-sided. Knowing it inside and out is the trick to winning on it.

I like it.

I thought it was ok as survivor until I played it as killer. Its actually pretty easy to end up with gens on the far side of the map which makes it tough.

Because if you get terrible teammates it becomes 3-Gen Central in the middle, which is about all the time.

Because they didn't implement it correctly, any player reasonable after X time playing this game will understand. It doesn't matter what people say, if you are this game's long term playerbase then later you'll understand for yourself.

Because it's a map that promotes very dull gameplay. It's gigantic, with long narrow hallways the make it impossible to cut survivors off. This means that survivors just hold W, and the only play the killer has is to hold W directly after them. This can take a while, and it's a snooze-fest. The pallets also tend to be either god pallets that you are forced to kick, or worthless garbage that might as well not even be there. Most places on the map don't allow an interesting back-and-forth. It's linear and yawn-inducing.

Because of the previously mentioned long narrow hallways, a lot of killer powers on this map either don't function well, or are more awkward to use. On the survivor end, the gens in the middle of the map can be obnoxious to try and complete, if the killer is determined to defend them. If you aren't used to the layout, it can be really confusing and disorienting, although this issue isn't as bad as Hawkins.

It's just not a map that meshes well with what makes DBD fun. If you're a stealth killer, that can make it a bit more fun, but I'm still not a fan.

These are a few many very meh comments in this thread. They don't actually address the issues such as map distance, ect. Gen spacing isn't the issue. And as a "vet" role even in the discord, I can safely say no "vet" will use ethos to structure an argument. They would use logos because they have the experience to understand the game. Although this commenter could just be really casual, further likely proving my point.

This is a good comment that answers op in a fashion I agree with.
