Sadly no.

IGNORE MY NEXT COMMENT:

However, IIRC you can try to unhook yourself JUST before the first stage ends if you are still on the the hook. This should give you a free escape attempt as the bar will not go under the half-way mark. Someone please confirm this!

nah, it removes the same amount of progress from the hook as when you attempt doing it early into the 1st hook

Well the reason I am asking is because in certain games some people just manage to jump off before duy from second time hook.. I was confused. Maybe there is a perk ?

1st hook: you can attempt to escape (not recommended unless there is no chance of rescue)
2nd hook: struggle mode(missing too many skill checks will lead into a 3rd hook.
3rd hook: death

The anti-facecamp mechanic lets people jump off during the second hook if the bar fills up all the way. Otherwise, no, there is no other way to release yourself from the second hook phase.

Whenever the killer is close to the hook. If there are other survivors nearby as well, the bar fills a lot slower. The killer has to intentionally just stand there to fill it completely.
