Yeah I know about the locker bit, its funny because I still see people hiding in the lockers and him just insta getting them. I didnt realize the mist part so that might help a bit, though admittedly they teleport to it pretty fast so I dont think speed wise id make it before them.
For survivors holding W is already enough of a counter. If you look behind yourself whilst being chased even better. At palette loops dredge is a fairly basic M1 killer, except for a little mind gaming with his ability. In these cases just keep running and forget about the loop to play it safe.
Trust me few things are more frustrating for a dredge player than teleporting after a hook and seeing the next survivor running off in the distance. Game awareness is key against him.
While looping him, if you see him leave behind the foggy mess, that's the cue to run to the next loop, the remnant makes continuing to stay at that loop dangerous, and the Dredge slows down a bit while the shadow's out there. Take that slowdown time to book it
