What's Up With the Doctor?
Almost every time I play against the doctor, he just stays in one place, swinging his weapon around. He doesn't chase or hook or anything. I haven't seen this with any other killers; only the doctor. What's up with this doctor?

Seems like a farm bot tbh, maybe it's a coincedence that you only get doctors.

Doctors also sometimes can get sick, just wish them a speedy recovery

Man where are those in my games? Those used to be SO common back then but I think it became bannable.

I don't think the doctor is AFK because he turns, sometimes takes a step or two, and swings his weapon, but not continuously. I recently learned about macros, but I don't know anything about them. Maybe that's what's going on. But I haven't seen this behavior with any other killer. I've probably gone against the Doctor 10-20 times. He only played normally twice.

You won't be seeing that once you get out of the new player MMR

Farm Bots. If you're new to the game you'll see them since they are at the bottom of the MMR Easy pip matches pretty much and a free escape

You're in really low MMR, there are plenty of bots/farming accounts there. Once you win a few more games you won't be seeing them again since your MMR will increase

I apologize for the confusion. I wasn't asking you to paraphrase; I was asking you to explain.

Bots and farming accounts lose games since they're AFK and don't get kills. As a result their MMR drops to very low numbers, matching them with new players that naturally have low MMR.

The more you escape (winning), the more your MMR increases, putting you in a higher bracket/tier that these bots/farming accounts can't reach (because they keep losing on purpose).

Survivors gain MMR by escaping trials through the gates and lose MMR by dying.
Killers gain MMR for each survivor they kill and lose MMR for each survivor that escapes.

That makes a LOT of sense. Thanks! The link was super helpful, too. From what I read, this doctor player either manages to stay at a low MMR, or is doing this for no reason because of the loss-protection mechanic would prevent it...unless they spend CRAZY hours doing this. If that's the case it really sucks because they must be wasting a LOT of people's time!

Most of my games vs doctors, they're throwing as well. Just like most of my games against Ghostface aren't real games.

I know why doctors are throwing, I don't know why it's so common that most of the time I play doctors they are going to throw, it's gotten to the point that I immediately relax once I realize I am playing a doctor because 95% chance they aren't playing.
