Nemmy is fun too, but he's slow. Not movement-wise, but slow in that he takes a bit to get going. Getting to tier 2 with his tentacle is really important, tier 3 even better. Also I dunno if it's a latency issue with me, but it feels like his tentacle hitbox is stupidly finicky.
The zombies are a mixed bag. 9/10 times they do nothing at all in the match. But that 1 time they're useful, they're *really* useful.
However, Nemmy does have better perks. Erruption and Lethal Pursuer are both great and better than any of Wesker's perks.
So, IMHO, Wesker is the more fun, easy to use killer, but Nemesis may offer more value in the long run.
With the removal of call of brine nemesis became really hard to use the perk use to be enough as the only gen regression perk and as a bonus when the notification activated it would bring zombie toward the gen.
Corrupt is needed because early game you want to infect survivor so they are force to use the vaccine early game like that during the mid or late game you can snowball.
Discordance bring zombie toward the gen too so its a nice info perk and it aggro the zombie so its better on nemesis compare to all the other killer.
The addon are not amazing but they are not bad either. The iri addon are bad so if you can dont buy them but the rest are fine.
Honestly playing nemesis can be great but with the release of alien i cant see myself going back toward nemesis because alien do everything nemesis do but better.
Some can also dodge tentacle. When he works he is great fun but I would not exactly call him a good killer.
Just to leave my opinion on that preference of yours.
I wont say it´s a bad choice, personaly I love the movies but the character in DBD I don´t like at all, neither Ripley for that matter. Allien is a powerfull killer, for now, and for sure will eventually take that nerf like every new killer in the game that stops being new and don´t sell that much. Allien is my last pick in this moment.
But I understand and appreciate the context within your statement.
If you want fun and win go wesker if you hesitate between the 2 of them if you want a slow and painfull death go nemesis. Just a reminder that nemesis is getting hurt by mft a lot so if your lobby are like mine and you have 2 or 3 mft per game then i will consider to play wesker instead.
Might be biased, because I can't get Wesker's power to really work around loops or do much other than close gaps or sprint around the map.
Allthough getting Trickster may take a fair amount of games to be able to unlock it maybe I could use Starstruck on top of the large terror as advantage. A possible combination to consider.
Maybe Wesker is the best bet as most of the killers I like to play are weak or moderate and I need a strong one at the line up too.
On the other hand, Wesker is a beast regarding gameplay depths, especially when you learn hug tech and various rebound/sliding techs
