How to counter holding W with MFT as an M1 killer?
Right off the bat, i'm not saying i'm mad at the survivors for trying to escape but this strategy is an absolute nightmare for me to go against when i'm playing a killer without a chase oriented-power like Blight who can catch up easily or Spirit, just a killer who is very oppressive in chases in general, I personally like to play killers like Ghostface, Freddy etc. so most of my games look like this: I get sent to The Game, I find a survivor, hit them, they run away, we get to a loop, pre-drop pallet, hold w, pre-drop, hold w, pre-drop, hold w and there is nothing I can do about it other than just desperetely trying to catch up to a survivor while gens are flying right, left and center, is there any counter to this other than playing killers who are oppressive in chases? Oh yeah and when all the gens are done and Hope comes along with MFT then yeah, GG.

If your waiting to bloodlust to catch a survivor than your playing killer wrong. Waiting for bloodlust is the best way to lose a gen.

Could run Nemi+Game Afoot - every time you get slapped with a pallet and break it, there's a 5% Haste in your lap for 10s; Downside being you have to dump BP into Skull Merch to get it.
Blood Warden's good if you can pull off an end-game hook, max tier should give you 60 extra seconds and aura reading on anyone sitting in the exit zone.
Bamboozles great for chases in areas with windows; Great as a blocker, pair it with Superior Anatomy and you can just zoom over those windows. Same with Claustrophobia.
Brutal Strength might also help you keep your chase up and earn some BP from smashing things to make up for lost time - I find it works best in a chase build stacked with Enduring and Fire Up.
Devour Hope is a gamble if you run into Survs who actually do totems, but if you can get it powered up to 3 tokens you'll have map-wide Exposed.
Play With Your Food might also be a good choice with something that swaps obsessions, at max it's a 5% haste per token up to 3 tokens/15%; You lose one every time you take a swing or a special attack however, so, might be good to throw in a recovery perk.
Machine Learning might also be another goody, but it'll require you to sacrifice a genny every time you want Haste.

Otherwise the best ways to outplay survivors who keep dragging you away from the gennys are to either learn mind-games, or learn to break off if the chase lasts more than 15-20s without a hit.

But how to mind-game when a survivor just holds W and immediately leaves to the second loop

Fake a hit, allow a pallet in the middle of a chase loop - and try to trick them into quickly hopping over to the wrong side (swap chase direction mid chase), or just break off the chase if you don't think you can get them - If they're leading you to a second loop, they might be running a build meant to keep your attention.
Or hell, bring an exhaustion perks or addons, it prevents MFT from triggering if you can exhaust them first.

there is no way to counter it, that's the beauty of mft.
you can somehow prevent it with fearmonger or something similar though, but it's not 100% reliable

Only real counter is really playing a better killer, but I suck at nurse/blight, but for me Nemi/Knight do ok with MFT. You can mind game better with Knight cause you push them in a different direction, and with nemi his whip can make up the distance of MFT.

Play with your food helps, if you can reliably get stacks. Against the MFT+Hope, No Way Out will give you 10-20 seconds where you have a speed boost too (until they break the hex).

Otherwise, M1's don't really have anything to catch up or deny somebody that's just running straight forward other than chasing them down.

Is this a copy/pasta and if so can I use it? It is so good

Anything that counters Exhaustion perks will counter Made for This as it is essentially an Exhaustion perk. Fearmonger, Killer powers that Exhaust or Hinder, add-ons that Exhaust or Hinder, Killers that can move faster, Killers that don't care how fast a Survivor moves because their kit is about catching Survivors outside of chase (Trapper, Hag), ranged Killers, instant down Killers or perks. (Ghostface is actually really strong against Made for This but you need to use your power to expose).

Finally... Rapid Brutality is a direct counter to Made for This. I've been loving it and use it on most M1 Killers now that need to chase in place of Save the Best for Last as I've found it to be way more effective at cutting down chase times.

Also, Made for This is strong against any Killers that hold W in chase. Mindgaming will always be the most effective Killer tool. Hiding your red stain works better than any perk to counter strong loopers.

You dont you accept your lost and swich killer maybe in 3 month the perk will be nerf and even then im sure they are going to nerf the endurance effect without touching the real issue.
