Is Behavior Interactive lying?
After seeing the newest development update backlash (kinda), I went to check the active player count to see if the game was dying. Then I went to check Deathgarden and see if that game had died yet, only to find out that the devs abandoned it months ago. I clicked the link to their website, curious to see if they've done this with any of their other games. I noticed they've developed far more games than I thought, at least I think they did.

On their website, the credit themselves with the solo creation of four games. DBD, Deathgarden, and two mobile games, one of which did horribly. Then, you can scroll down to see they've co developed several major games - Halo MCC, Gears 5, and Far Cry 5 to name a few. I had my doubts, so I tried to fact check this with Halo Wars Definitive Edition. They are credited on Wikipedia and Steam, so I believed it initially. Then I try to check Halo MCC and Far Cry 5 and can't seem to find them on the dev list. Their Wikipedia page doesn't help either, but it could just need updated.

Is it possible that the major companies just didn't include them? Or did they just lie to make themselves look good? I just really want to know because I can't seem to find these answers myself.

As far I know they ported these games.

I don’t think they developed those games, most likely published or ported them.

I just thought it would be weird for them to say they co-developed a game if they only ported it. This does make a little more sense if porting can be considered developing.

I had never heard of this. It didn't do that bad. Idk why they wouldn't want to advertise it over some of their other games.
