There aren't many survivor perks that provide benefits being the obsession or utilizing the Obsession. Blood Pact, Object of Obsession being the only two known perks that utilize being the obsession (Or interacts with the obsession) to their advantage. There's ways to increase the odds of becoming the obsession (For the People, Mettle of Man, Sole Survivor, Decisive Strike)
As of right now, Survivors have very little interaction with the Obsession mechanic. It used to be important but now it's just vanity for survivors, critical for killers.
