soloq survivor builds?
Can someone tell me some good solo survivor builds? Some that are not exhaustion/looping or killer/aura reveal builds. Solo totem sucks, unhook build sucks, anti-hook sucks, sabo sucks, healing speed sucks, wiggle build sucks, endurance sucks.

Honestly, every single build, not that it trully sucks but only real benefit of using them is if SWF and you coordinate. But in terms of soloQ one might just as well run perkless or item looter build.

SoloQ Survivor builds became from one trick pony to no trick pony at all. Making the game rather dull in terms of possible playstyles.

Please suggest something different and interesting that I can try.

If you want to increase your escape rate :

Left behind / Sole survivor / Adrenaline and Deliverance for exemple

It give you all the chance you need to either get the hatch or open a door if you happen to be the last one standing, which may happen a lot if you're good but play Solo survivor.

If you rather seek a build to help your team to maybe get the 5 gens done (hardcore in soloq) you have the basic gen jockey build :

Prove thyself / Déjà Vue / Friendly competition / Situationnal awareness

You can switch Friendly comp with Spint burst, Lithe or Overcome if you want a bit more survivability and Situationnal by Wire Tap since it also show the gen you are working on to your teamates while providing a great tool to evade the killer regarding where the gen is located.

Close your eyes and pick. Random perks is a nice change.

i tend to cover a few bases - kindred/ windows of opportunity/sprint burst and then interchangeable perks like prove thyself/adrenaline/flashbang/head on/shadowstep depending on how im feeling.

#1 core is windows of opportunity - so when the killer is on you , you can see what your bot team mates already fed the killer his spirit enduring and where to run to for safe loops this perk can be changed out but you will always seem to get value out of this perk when you don't have it equipped rather than when you do.

#2 core next pick any exhaust perk pick your favorite one

# 3 are you gen focused or heal focused

if your gen focused take provethyself - 15% bonus if you jump on a gen with a fellow bot good for breaking 3 gens in a rush and you get blood point bonus

if your healing focused take we'll make it, go for unhooks and get near instant heals off your bots it lasts along time so you can get multi heals off on your team very fast

4 i like having some info if i'm solo because i have nobody telling me 7 info perks on the mic for free & running no info blind helps the killer set up plays

alert - to see killer across map for info if he randomly turns and bee lines to your gen and or if your bot is looping him towards your gen or to get free W mind game on pallet loops

empathy is superior to bond - free info on who is getting chased and where if you have we'll make it you can get more than 1 heal off if your bot teammate lets you heal them

anther perk that is good is adrenaline to take the killer on a chase however its very hard to time this with random people as they have no idea you have it. it can sometimes be good but sometimes be worthless and the fact you have to wait for 5 gens (rare that happens in solo q unless your stomping the killer to begin with) for it to turn on for such a short amount of time is a huge risk and you may get more value out of another perk below

inner healing, just find a random totem and break it to get a free heal anytime you get into a locker for 8 seconds i take this over adrenaline and i get more value out of it most times.

another perk can be resilience for 9% speed bonus but the con is you have to always be injured depending on the killer you vs this can be good or bad

for op build,
quick and quiet . head on . flash bang . deception

this might not always work, but when it does it is the most fun thing you can do on a killer as a survivor

I usually play duos with a friend, but if I have to take a shot at solo queue sprint burst, self aware, vigil and empathy help. Not the funnest build, but it works well enough.

I personally enjoy Off the Record, DS, Deadhard and deliverance.
This build takes practice to work though if you aren't use to running these perks.

Another strong build if you are more of a Gen Jockey rather than someone that wants chases try:
Prove Thyself, Built to Last, Street Wise, Choice Endurance Perk
This build requires a decked out Toolbox though with lots of charges.

Also you can go with the other Gen Jockey build:
Stake Out, Hyperfocus, Fast Track and Fogwise....You have to be decent at hitting Great Skillchecks though to make it work

The builds aren’t the issue, the player is. I’ve been carried in a SWF by people who run perkless and survive regardless.

Just learn to loop better and be a team player.

True
No offense to survivor mains but a lot of them don't know how to loop and are terribly inefficient when it comes to gens.

It's like people who think Deadhard is bad now.
It's not a bad perk, but you can't be bad at using it now. You get 2 uses of the perk per match and Deadhard is that strong where 2 times is all you need if you aren't bad at using it.

Loot goblin build is fun.

First off, thank you all for the suggestions. Though I have played most of those build suggestions. I don't have all the perks yet, still have to level up probably a remaining third of all survivors to make their perks available.

My current and only perk builds I run with success are:

1. No Mither (just to challenge myself) yet I still need some perks to unlock to make it a bit useful, but (with what I have) No Mither, Resilience, Spine Chill, and a free slot mostly used to divert the killer away is my favourite stealth build. Spine Chill is so undervalued, and I love it.

2. Totem Cleanser - Small Game (even though I am pretty annoyed at how unreliable detection can be at some maps), Spine Chill, and literally anything else I feel I want to try (mind you I don't have all perks yet but there is probably specific options.

3. Exhaustion build - Since I don't have Vigil yet, I use Self-Aware and Sprint-Burst. Or instead of those two I run Lithe. I really want to try Balanced Landing, but Nea is not a priority now or ever in the near future.

4. My favourites SoloQ:
- Open-handed, Windows of Opportunity, Kindred, free slot (bassically when I want to train looping or "W")
- Ace in the Hole, Appraisal, Plunderer's Instinct and a free slot (I know there prolly are better variations, but that's what I have unlocked for a loot goblin.)

I guess I am just a bit frustrated that the perks and characters I've worked on to level almost all seem useless. I do have a lot unlocked that were considered meta few months ago, but now barely any of them are usable as SoloQ.

But I have a lot of perks that work for builds such as the ones I mentioned in my post. It's just that these perk do require cooperation and coordination from SWF now after their nerfs.

My biggest gripe is with Circle of Healing. While I don't mind that it doesn't allow you yo self-heal anymore without a medkit, I hate that it doesn't work with self-care. I am wasting a perk slot here, Circle of Healing and Self-care should stack. For that I've been thinking to unlock Quentin soon and try a Loot Goblin/Circle of Healing with Pharmacy. Though it also seems very very specific and situational.

For Deadhard, its still pretty useful, but I almost never ran Deadhard, neither before the nerf or after it, in fact I find myself trying it out more after the nerf. Its okay now. And I do agree that situational awareness (not the perk, the playstyle) is the most important. And since I don't have that good of a tile knowledge (prolly non-existant knowledge xD ) I have to run Windows of Opportunity when trying to loop and chain tiles.

For Solo Queue?

Kindred Resurgence We'll Make it and Windows of Opportunity will carry the most unseasoned players out there with its full blown autopilot mode.

Off The Record, Adrenaline, WOO, and exhaustion perk of your choice, this builds lets you survive for a long time in any kind of lobby. Adren + off the record great for not getting killed off and you can do crazy plays with those 2 perks too.

Distortion / Sole Survivor / Head on / Spine Chill

I'm much more of a killer main, but I've been running this build on my survivor. Excellent protection against aura-reading, warns you when killer is close, and gives you big boosts to your gate unlock speed if you're the last one left.
