Hex: Pentimento, a cool perk that needs some support
I genuinely think the idea of a "destruction" hex build for a killer could be interesting. Since survivors no longer destroy hex's and just bless then 24/7. I think the killer should be able to have some kinda perk that passively just breaks totems throughout the trial.
Nothing to crazy, and obviously they'd have to work for it but I think Pentimento could make a damn interesting build with hex's so here's my idea for a perk to assist it

Perk, Destruction through blood, The blood split during the trial feeds the entity, and rewards the killer.
Every 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, time the killer downs a survivor. 1/2 random totems around the map are instantly broken. Forcing survivors to rebuild them if they want to create blessings.

i have no idea if this is broken, niche, or just downright useless honestly even with my 160+ hours :l But i just really wanna be able to run Pentimento and have it actually work and not be a waste of a perk slot

This is one of the best killer hex perks, as at tier 1 (from the effect, not the perk) it already grants the best slow-down gen bonus in the game (only needing one totem cleansed, which is not uncommon to occur in niche builds with other hex perks)

Your post would even make sense a few months ago before COH nerf, but currently the use of boons by Nightlight itself is very low, not even among the top 30 most used perks, anyway, I don't see any reason to buff or rework, and like all hex, high risk, high reward

Leaving aside the perk idea, if you have the Cenobite, you ought to look at Hex: Plaything. Alternatively, you could also consider the Knight's perk, Face The Darkness.

In essence you want to give people a reason to go around breaking totems. Those two perks are pretty efficient ways to inspire people to do that. Alternatively, you can make a Hex oriented build that buys you time in the early parts of the round and which you can build Pentimento on top of afterward.

Face the darkness is fairly bad and very niche.

Agree with that the Hex: Plaything has a chance of destroying 4 totems while the Hex Face the darkness will destroy 1 at best and half the time you don't get the use out of it cause either the survivors found the hex really fast or most of them are already in your terror radius and the last one is mostly a distraction or is doing as much of a good job the other 3 could be doing so by the time you reach to stop him the other 3 already dealt with whatever was in your area.
