Anyway, free to complain, but I don't agree, not all indoor maps are good for all killers, and I still think it's way better than lerys (the only indoor map I don't really like)
Survivors have:
Lery's
Cowshed
Borgo
Gideon (not nurse killer)
Autohaven
Garden of Free
Mother's dwelling/Temple
Springwood
Ormond
Free loop simulator Saloon
my man, you never will know as main killer how i dislike the Borgo and the Saloon "loop Simulator"
hmm... Autohaven COULD be in very rare setup, killer sided... some conditions should be meet...
condition number 1... you are the Trapper
condition number 2... you get the "azarov resting place map"
condition number 3... both gates spawn at same main point from two points available in azarov resting place
fixed gates spawn in Silent Hill can be killer sided IF... you are playing rancor or rancor+nemesis and/or trapper
however Silent Hill usually have two advantages for survivors... (when they know how to use them)... few hooks most of the times the map comes and a huge ammount of pallets
i just love to play in Silent Hill with the pig and the aura read add on to 16 meters and scan entire map in a walkaround with her, also can be done with the Shape,
but as said, many pallets and few hooks, as main killer and/or player i can say that about Silent Hill map for sure
good gaming everyone with regards
Midwich and RPD are also unique in that they use different design architecture, they're not just flat walls. They have all kinds of unique decorations, more interesting things to look at. Unique textures, unique props. No matter who I'm up against I really enjoy being on those maps. They have character, they're not bland.
Plus some killers are amazing on those maps. Doc and Wesker, for example.
Yep, that was one of my other favorites.
I like all the indoor maps. It's not a matter of having a ceiling (though I do feel that this adds to the claustrophobic feel), it's the fact that an indoor area will have walls, columns, doors, sometimes stairs, etc. There's more going on. Most of the maps - nice as a lot of them are - are basically just redressed fields with different colors and props. Indoor maps have more diversity and "feel", in my opinion. They also allow for more interesting situations like tight corridors, sharp turns, etc. I know that some people don't like this but I think that the variation is really important. Things like Coal Tower, Sanctum of Wrath, Crotus Prenn, etc., all feel like palette and texture swaps of the exact same thing to me. The experience doesn't really feel any different from one to the next.
Yes, the rooms are small and you’ve got to move around, but I’ve literally walked behind a Bubba as he was checking my hiding spot and lost him before he could turn to see me.
Just be more stealthy, lol
