- sometimes you look straight in his face (not even far away) and you still can't reveal him
- sometimes he hides perfectly behind an obstacle and still get's revealed
It's so RNG.
I agree that the reveal mechanic can be hit or miss which can be annoying for both sides but I think overall it's not too bad. I say this as someone who almost exclusively plays ghostface.
I think making the lean stalking mechanic more smooth and less wonky is a more needed change.
Exactly. I feel like the increased Night Shroud recovery is a great way to make up for the fact that the reveal mechanic can be so weird. Having a survivor reveal you even though you're behind cover or well hidden isn't as big of a deal with the faster shroud recovery.
