How's the singularity?
People who played The PTB, how is he feeling? Is he powerful? Easily bulliable? Underwhelming? I'd appreciate any info on the killer as I might get him to enlargen my small killer roster

In his current state? Tough, but difficult to use well. His ability relies on being able to tag survivors through pods he sets up, and then he can teleport to them in chase, cutting off loops or even crossing the whole map... but the catch is that these pods can be temporarily disabled by EMP blasts, which are currently, IMO, a little too quick and easy to come by, considering how much time it can take the killer to set up. I really, REALLY like him so far though; most ptbs I play one round of each side and that's it, but I played the Singularity two hours straight.

Fun. Once survivors know how to play against him, probably frustrating. EMP are easily and readily available, even during chase, to deny him much of his power and turn him into an M1 killer.

I don't think you need to ask people that have played the PTB if you just watch someone that streamed it. Because it is clear from the streams that he is amazing, however if the EMP printers don't get changed/tuned he's going to be really weak and basically a M1 killer against competent survivors.

I'm having an absolute blast with him. You're never NOT doing something when playing Singularity; you're either managing your EMP'd pods by replacing them, looking for survivors on your pods, chasing someone, or some mix of the three. A lot of people say the EMP needs a nerf, and while I can see where they're coming from, I'd honestly like the devs to wait after Singularity goes live to make any big changes like that. They're strong, sure-- but so's his power, so it balances out. It's not at all hard to get a tag on someone with the pods mid-chase, once you get the hang of it; after that, you pretty much get an instant teleport, super-brutal, free superior anatomy, and base kit spirit fury/enduring for that chase. A strong power is kept in check by a strong counter, and I think that's part of why the killer is so fun.

on a side note, I've personally wanted a robot/cyborg killer for AGES, and after Bhvr kinda blue balled me with Skull Merchant, this killer's biomechanical design is much appreciated lmao

He is both powerful and easily bulliable.
His power is information and teleportation, anti loop and gen defense, good at chases and ending them.
His weakness is the EMP, which are everywhere, endless, a wide effect, and easy to use.
Against players who don't know what the power is yet, he's unstoppable. Against bots who know everything, you'll never get to use your power at all.

He seems to be really fun to play as, but frustrating. Seeing people play him just reminds me of Twins ( Fun to play, but frustrating if you do misstakes.

To me, he's frustrating at times, which means I won't play him. I'll just stick with the killers that don't frustrate me.

Right now it takes too much effort to use his power. Survivors don't just counter it, they easily turn it off. I'm not a fan of killers whose power is in the hands of survivors. Almost literally. One EMP can break everything you've been trying to achieve. They have to change EMPs, but I think they're too afraid to make another 3-gen killer, so Idk, we'll see when chapter goes live.

emps spoil all the fun

The killer could be fun but the emp ruin the killer so in my opinion if you only have the shard for 1 character buy the survivor his perk are better.

They need to cut back on the EMPs, it's too easy to disable his "cameras" which he can only replace if he approaches and shoots them directly, so he can lose a LOT of work and preparation in a matter of seconds since once the "cameras" get hit with the EMP, all they can do is look around. Same for the teleport. For making such a big deal out of it, it sure is a pain to set up much less utilize. You have to mark someone then they either have to be dumb enough to stay in view of a functional camera OR you have to line up a "shot" directly at them in order to teleport behind them. Have fun teleporting behind them while they easily vault a thrown pallet and escape.

He could be better.

Like much better.

From what i've seen most content creators agreed that he's kind of fun to play. But it seems EMP is too easy avaiable and there a too many of them, so his power can be nullified easily.

On open maps, this killer is in it's prime. I just uploaded a small clip of the corn map, and they didn't have too many places to hide. On cluttered maps with a lot of hiding spots; I think this killer will struggle to use the bipods. I struggled a bit on the new map. There were so many bushes to hide behind. Maybe it's also experience and some getting used to these environments. EMPS can be a pain, but I've learned to work around it by not putting them too close together. It can get a bit disorienting when changing between bipods. I feel like he is an average killer with some powerful potential when everything goes right.

If BHVR reduces the amount of printers on the map, hide printer auras until you’re infected (like Wesker and Nemesis’ crates), and requires a time investment similar to pick up the EMP, then he would be absolutely amazing.

As it stands now, he’s like a super version of Hag that is easily denied his power by coordinated teams.
