Question about Epic and Steam Cross Progression
I currently have my steam and epic accounts linked to my BHVR account for cross progression, if I remove my steam account will the progress still stay in my epic games account?

No. This is not a transfer of progress. Is the merging of two accounts into one.

So If I remove my steam account my epic account goes back to 0?

something along the lines, and players somehow are completely fine with that

Can I disable Cross-Progression or unlink my accounts after enabling it?

Yes. However, if you unlink an account after it has been merged, all progress and purchases will be set to the state they were prior to the merge, potentially causing a loss of progress / virtual goods on that platform.

When you unlink your platform account from your Behaviour Account, you'll have to wait 60 days before linking a new platform account (of the same platform) to your Behaviour Account. You will also have to wait 60 days to link that platform account to another Behaviour Account.

When you unmerge a platform account from your Behaviour account, your unlocked items, perks, characters, character levels, and player level will be returned to the platform account in the same state as when the account was originally linked.

Any remaining Auric Cells purchased on that platform since merging, or items purchased using Auric Cells, will also be returned to the platform account. Bloodpoints, Iridescent Shards, and Auric Cells unlocked through gameplay will remain on the Behaviour account. Any unlocked characters that were transferred to the unmerged platform account will be unavailable to the Behaviour account (unless repurchased).

If unmerging the account would leave the Behaviour account with NO remaining platform accounts, then all Bloodpoints, Iridescent Shards, and Auric Cells remaining on the Behaviour account will be granted to the final platform account that was unmerged.

Re-merging your account will not restore this lost progress.

It's not going to 0, it will go back to the point right before merging them the 1st time.

can you give any example of any other game that does this?
shouldn't there be a bigger warning sign?

So 0 since the only account I've used is my steam account.
I was asking if removing my steam account, if the progress I had on it before would still stay in the epic account

If you remove your Steam account from BHVR.com then your Steam account will revert back to the state it was in when you linked it to BHVR.com. You will lose everything you've earned since linking as it remains on the BHVR account.

Here's a thread worth looking at: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/306144/what-happens-to-your-progress-if-you-unlink-your-behaviour-account

Curious, if you've never played via Epic, why unlink at all?

You have to wait 60 days to re-merge and re-merging will not restore lost progress.

I'm not 100% sure, but unmerging and unlinking are different things. End of january I merged when my Blight was on P96, then unmerged at P100, he fall back to P96 and than I remerged again, again P100. Maybe they changed that

when you unmerge did you see if the other account still had your p100 blight?

On Epic Blight was on P2 again. You are only losing the progress after the merge. If you merge on 1st of May you will "only" lose the last 19 days. Your 2 Accounts traveling back in time.
