how to correctly head nod in the survivors death camera?

What is the best position to nod my head while the survivor dies on the hook, so they get the best possible look at my ugly mug before they leave the game?

You have the entire duration of them being on the hook to experiment. Hang around. Try new angles. They wont mind.

Getting yourself killed on hook will show you the best angles.

Generally speaking, standing on the Survivor's right side (that's left side if you're looking at them from the front) will have them see you initially.

Dying on hook automatically focuses the camera on the hook itself, survivors can't really change that. Their ability to look around only lasts until they're being killed.

But then you're competing with The Entity and it doesn't like that. The kills are all for him (or her, or it). You're only being used as their tool. It doesn't respect you, it's best to get out of that codependent relationship as soon as you can.
