Stupid question about 'Scourge Hook: Gift of Pain'
This is one of my main perks I use in most of my builds, and i am still confused and can't find an answer online about this, but, does Gift of Pain only activate once per survivor? Thank you!

"You start the trial with 4 tokens. The first time each survivor is hooked on a scourge hook you lose a totem and the gen with the most progress losses 25%"

So yeahh first hook per person only but to compinsate it now takes 25% instead of the old 15% per hook

To my understanding, it affects survivors whenever they get hooked on a scourge hook. So even after the first time they get rescued, healed, and injured again which makes the effect go away, it will be reapplied upon their next hook. Only Hex: Plaything works once per match.

That is Pain Resonance from Artist, not Gift of Pain which is from Pinhead.

It works up to 8 times, so twice per survivor (because on third time they’re dead)

Only SC: Pain Resonance and Hex: Plaything activate when hooking survivor for the 1st time
It works each time you hook them on a scourge hook.

It works every time you hook them on a white hook.
If they don't heal, they can avoid the slowdown effect. Also worth noting that Mangled and stuff don't really do anything much, because heal times are so quick...most times, you're only adding a few extra seconds; not enough to be a difference maker. Even worse, a lot of survivors run perks that buff them when they're injured, and those players won't really be affected by it.

I used to be into Gift of Pain too, but I realized that Hex: Pentimento paired with Hex: Plaything ends up being more effective at what Gift of Pain tries to do.
