Hopefully the bad reviews changes BHVR's mind
Some of these changes is a bit too overkill, especially towards Solo which will be affected very harshly by this undoubetly killer sided update.
Changes is needed fair enough but there is no need to overdoing it.
Look at the recently bad reviews, is it really worth overnerfing survivors that much all at the same time?

Totally agree. Games with all those meta aspects can be a real pain to balance, and when you add asymmetry to the mix like in DbD, it just makes the whole thing even tougher. Symmetric games like League of Legends are a bit easier to manage in comparison.
quite a pain to balance tbh, every single season you have one specific meta that is guaranteed to lift you towards Master at least if you just know the mechanics and macro gameplay well. People keep complaining about broken champs no matter if they are in meta or not, and the game itself manages to still be one of the most played ones out there. The key is nothing else but the community.

Oh yeah, totally. The League of Legends crew is seriously one-of-a-kind and a big part of what makes the game so awesome. Even with all the balancing hurdles, it's still crazy popular and super satisfying once you get the hang of it

I don't think they will listen so i am gonna change my review to negative anyway. It was an absurd to even think those changes were good to start with. The devs should should at least asked the opinion from the best players before any PTB.

1. Literally on this forum the devs mentioned that they try to read as many discussions as they can and you never addressed any of the comments that talk about review bombing being bad. If they ask for feedback, why release the PTB if they already have the feedback, PTB exist so that they can get feedback out of players who have actually experienced the changes.

2. They Learnt about the skull merchant being bad, simple. Provide evidence of them not listening before you make assumptions.

3. I think I've barley heard survs talking about the gen regression perks and also the only reason tunneling and camping exist so prominently now is because it came out of killers being in a corner cause survs had been so powerful.

No, it is not specially when they don't learn from their previuos mistakes. UB and mori base kit was one of them. If they can not balance the game like any other pvp game then it stays as a negative review.
none of the games that have meta aspects are balanced well. The best example ever is League of Legends. Now, asymmetric games are even more difficult to balance than symmetric ones, so try to guess how actually is difficult to balance DbD as an 1v4 game in difference to League of Legends that is 5v5.
Not rue and League of Legends always have a 5 or 6 broken heroes. Some people don't like balanced games anyway. The best exemple are Dota 2 and heroes of the storm for mobas, moba, Age of empires 2 for RTS and so on.

Not rue and League of Legends always have a 5 or 6 broken heroes. Some people don't like balanced games anyway. The best exemple are Dota 2 and heroes of the storm for mobas, moba, Age of empires 2 for RTS and so on.
League of Legends always has 10+ S tier champs and another 10 that are low elo stompers. People are always crying, yet playerbase of LoL is always getting bigger.

That would be like a restaurant removing their #1 menu choice and you calling all the feedback for that "malicious act".
When a lot of those reviews were simply insulting the devs, ja, it was malicious. To use your restaurant example, it's like the restaurant cycling through a seasonal dish series, throughout the year, and then one pops up for a while and when it's time for it to move on, the customers who enjoyed it started leaving reviews attacking the restaurant, saying stuff like "This restaurant sucks." and other similar SHORT replies that have nothing constructive.
I never saw many directly insulting the devs. Most was directly about the game, being greatly downgraded and not happy with the direction (never-ending nerfing of everything fun).
We aren't even talking about seasonal things, but things mostly used and been in the game a long time. How will a restaurant even make a seasonal item a part of their permanent menu if they filter out the reviews?

Those nasty reviews that diss game devs are just not helpful at all. The restaurant analogy makes sense to me too; when the restaurant stops serving a dish you love, don't go attacking the place. Instead, leave constructive criticism that can actually help them improve. And that's exactly what game reviews should do - provide constructive feedback on the game's quality and direction. Filtering reviews isn't the answer here, but taking an unbiased look at them can definitely help make better games in the future.
