dbd is not fun anymore

ok so whenever I play survivor I can't escape literally I have never seen the exit gates in a while my mmr is in the deep side of the iceberg because my teammates are always noobs and selfish they all care about themselves while I unhook them take hits for them and so on.. also because of my mmr, killers that appear in the lobby that I've teleported are always the people who just started playing, they always camp and tunnel this game is no fun it's just a basic college game design project made in unreal engine 4 just fix the game instead of making weird *ss cosmetics because I already emptied my wallet on them please fix hitboxes camping tunneling latency and community. A game like DBD can not be competitive because if you were to make it competitive you'd have to equal both teams like counter-strike, also this game became too killer sided survivors have no counterplay against killers because bhvr listens to dbd streamers who spend their years to this game instead of the actual community. BTW I play both sides and I always get 4k whenever I play killer my mmr is too high in killer im not a janky survivor who complains about goo goo I just wanna have fun :(( I am a game developer too and literally these mechanics are lazy af especially you're developing it on unreal engine it's the easiest and most stable game engine!!

There are few reasons why you can't escape maps are one of them.

If you want to win at least play with one friend and no problem with the rest of the team being noobs as long as your friend will back you up (flashlight saves and stuff)

The only good thing this game has are the characters. Otherwise I wouldn't be playing it. It's unbalanced on both ends, not only survivors.

basing mmr on escapes has this funny thing where the more you die the worse your team becomes which then makes you die more because its a team game and that lovely cycle just goes on and on and on

I play it every once in awhile when there is new content but the game just isn't that much fun. It never really was that fun to begin with but I do enjoy a good escape every now and then.

instead of fixing hit boxes they just add more characters like Alien and give them an OP tail that has stupid reach over pallets making him so hard to loop. game is so mid now and i used to love playing it

yes because I love the game and I am playing it since 2018 I returned back in 2023 and I was shocked how this game changed at first I liked a couple of changes but the competition is worse now.. you can suck developers toes and pay your college savings to shirtless jeff johansen outfit smh

yeah also hitboxes are too lazy and even loops have better hitboxes like player hitboxes are basically big beans and they follow the character slowly so that's why you get hit 5 billion years after you vault and such also the new vaults completely destroyed the game I mean just delete pallets and windows if you're gonna make vaults this useless

if you play soloq and you will escape, play solo escape perks. if you will play with the team -> have fun and dead with the noobs. mmr is broken. killer and serv perks are unbalanced or broken. killer are unbalanced or broken, best example wesker on a highping player. every action connected.

Never play survivor expecting to win, it is for people who enjoy losing at video games. There is absolutely zero skill expression because you depend on the killer being empty between the ears to open the gates.

I do sometimes use solo escape perks like sole survivor and stuff but I hate leaving my teammates behind and I still can't escape while using these perks because when the killer targets you it's done you get off the hook he tunnels you camps you sometimes teammates won't unhook me at my first hook so I die and stuff like that also I go in swf and idk but I have something like a curse killers always target me they always tunnel me they treat survivors like their toys they slug you and play games with you like dropping you in front of the exit gate and keep doing it until the time ends like I can't dc because if I do I get 12 hours of timeout I can't have fun like it makes me more angry while my innocent ass wants to spend time playing games in my period
