What killer should i play to scare others?

I want to legitimately scare players As it is one of the few ways i can have fun in this game now that even running chase builds are stressful due to windows of opportunity and made for this, as well as a few other perks. Playing to win with-ought anything on the side doesn't feel nearly as fun or rewarding, and even cross map shots are getting boring. the social aspect is all that's really left. thus, i want to scare. I want to max out that screamometer from monster's inc.

I've seen some fun videos such as people jump-scaring as billy Which seems effective, but it optimally requires an Iridescent and a purple which doesn't seems sustainable for every game. Jump scare Myers Isn't something i can imagine scares older veteran players, not to mention it's a very weak killer. What killers can i play that i can use to scare people that's of moderate strength with some Affordable Addons/Perk Synergies? I've heard/found from surveys that dredge is Apperintly the scariest killer, but i don't know if he has any addon's that can contribute to this, and I've been told he's fairly weak. So, how can i scare survivor's to ?

Silent Billy i know you said the add ons don't seem sustainable but you have to learn to play billy first without add ons just stock up while you prestige him

Honestly just run a stealth build on any quiet killer (so not dredge or something he’s loud and has nightfall already). I went against a pyramid head the other day and all he had for stealth was tinkerer and trail of torment. Me and my friend were finishing the last gen when he hit us through the wall (cause we didn’t hear him). Scared the s h i t out of both of us.

lol yea i use to run the same build with plaything and nowhere to hide he just really loud when going into his power was the only thing

Scariness is different for most killers. I think some of my most thrilling matches were against really good huntresses that can shoot you from far away even in open maps and are really good at loops, making you wish she stops chasing you. If they have the one shot hatchet add on then even if you're a really good survivor player, you'll be scared to go against her.
Jumpscare Myers, Ghostface and Hag are pretty scary if they can do the jumpscare thing well.

I've seen Myers, but you might need good map knowledge and 4head survivor movements

People crap their pants and dc when they see Nurse or Spirit. Personally I find a well played Ghostface or Wraith most scary.

Is there a way to know what killers are quiet, or do you know what killers are particularly quiet? i know theres studies on the most quiet survivor but im not sure in terms of killer.

I'm not really familiar with playing killer, but I've played against Hags that use remote trap addon which let's them teleport to any of their traps, the traps are usually placed really strategically and cannot be cleansed. Using stealth perks would help with the scare factor a lot more IMO.

Dredge. I have gotten more compliments on making sure peoples therapists know my name playing that one killer than any other.

yea press F1 on the selected killer it will pull up their info Hag can be scary you need her purple shackle add on if you run monitor and abuse she will have a 16m TR when not in a chase

Myers 100%. There's nothing more freaky than looking out into the distance while doing a gen and seeing this absolute demon stare back at you

If you don't have map offerings, definitely spirit. But if you got RPD and Larry's offerings on Myers, take him with scratched mirror and go to town. Dredge is alright as well but some maps have like 1-2 lockers
