Getting them is too slow, 30-40 hours for one character? If you play both as a survivor and killer, its way worse

With that time I could finish 5 indie games or one AAA game.

I was planning to buy all the licensed DLC and farm the rest but this is abusive, better save the money for better games.

Too bad because at first I loved the game (with all the bugs it had), but now I only see killers that are boring to use, designed for camping or super OP.

Characters do go on sale for 50% off, both in real $, auric cells and iridescent shards, usually during an anniversary event, or Halloween, but you have to be patient until then of course to get more bang for your iridescent shards. They could do with making iridescent shard sales whenever there's a $ sale too, though, at least for the older characters.

Shrine of Secrets needs to just let people buy whatever perks they want whenever they want, too, for cheaper. It's silly how buying out a perk to max it is nearly as much as an entire character.

The grind to get iridescent shards to unlock characters is hard, but its still better than waste money on this game, so...Always use your shards to unlock characters and paid perks from the shrine. Avoid wasting money paying for characters, even if the licensed characters can't be bough with shards, dont waste your money on anything on this game and only use shards to unlock everything (Including the perks from paid characters in the shrine)
