Alien dlc price, questionable

despite only having one survivor and one killer it costs as much as the dlc that has 2 survivors and one killer, that is a little concerning, anyone else ?, or am i just worrying over nothing ?, or is it because its licensed ?, as its likely my memory is terrible xd and i apologize if it is

Their pricing is probably based on how much they spent acquiring the license.

This one (Like the Nic Cage DLC) also includes a full set from the cosmetic store. That's probably what's bumping the price up.

in my memory, licensed dlcs are always a bit more expensive, probably because they need to recoup the cost of the licensing in addition to the standard work put into creating the new content.

its the extra costume thats "justifying" the extra 5$ bump (only saw video summeries of the films but i'm guessing its ripley's aliens/alien 2 outfit.) its pretty much a double edged sword deal of sorts. on one hand the additional outfit is cheaper then it'd likely be buying it through the shop. but if you didn't have any interest in it in the first place your stuck paying extra for something you didn't want. (ironicly cage is the normal 5$ price in the ingame store, but the alien+ripley will ultimately cost you 10$ ingame but then you don't get the outfit with them)

While I agree it's stupid trend, I want to remind you that you can just buy them for auric cells in game, for normal price.

Reminder to not buy the DLC for power. Only buy it if you genuinely like the characters and think it is worth paying the amount.

Strong perks/characters will be nerfed.
The DLC will cost less later, because of sales.

I remember the time until the clown chapter, when you bought a dlc, you received an entire cosmetic for the survivor (for 7€). Ace visconti, feng min, quentin smith and david tapp have a entire cosmetic for ONLY 7€. They could do the same thing for alien chapter, but they don't. Of course, you are forced to buy this pack if you want the exclusive charm.

it's because it's licenced. probably the alien creators asked for more money comparing, for instance, resident evil's creators

you can buy it without the bonus skin in game's shop for i think 500? golden valute

it's because for example feng min isn't licenced -- she was made by dbd team and therefore costs less

probably xd, kinda used to most things dlc wise being below the price it is if its just a survivor and a killer, my honest mistake xd
