[Fixed] Low FPS since 7.0.0 update

Even in low settings I have 60 FPS in the title screen but then always 10~20 FPS in the main menu, i didn't try further while playing but i'm afraid it will be the same, before the update i was always at 60fps in medium settings.

Edit : It was my CPU who was in thermal throttling so i put a new and lighter thermal paste, my PC is now healthier than ever.

I'm not so low, but I'm feeling some lag because of the fps drop, sometimes the mouse icon disappear too, but alt+tab makes come back to normal, and the annoying one it's the screen freezing sometimes, but the alt+tab fix too.

Yeah i used to get 140Fps on ultra before the update a few months ago and now i can barely scrape together 30 in low. Nothing about My PC has changed in that time frame.

How do you play 140 fps, if it has a cap for 120?

Funny fact: on my 2nd and 3rd acc i have no fps problems.

I have the same problem, lot of fps drops and freezes, trying to update drivers and reinstalling the game atm

If it only happens in DBD just completely reinstall the game. Obvious memory usage/buffering/reading issue (in my opinion). But yet again you play on medium, so that must be a CPU-related usage issue? But I have no issues before and after the patch. (had completely removed the game after skull merchant, nothing related to the killer, just a brief break)

Hello after the update this just happened to me today. I have a 3090 and have been running and streaming the game on ultra at 120 fps just fine. Now I get around 100 to 110 and I'm skipping 100% of my frames while streaming. I have no idea what happened.

1440p? Because 1080p that should be a complete non issue even my 9700f 2070 super can do that with complete ease.

yeah it can't run at 1080p even right now. Before I was getting 120 even at 2160p

My game started running slower after updating my graphics drivers today. I had to set my game to a lower graphics setting to get playable fps. My game also randomly minimised in the middle of a match before I started getting fps problems, but I'm not sure if this is related.

What do you mean by minimized? Because my game keeps on jumping down into a smaller frame despite the full screen setting being on. The only thing that fixes it is quitting the game and restarting, but it happens again anyway.

It seems like every update, performance drops a bit. I had an old gaming laptop I've gotten 3 years ago and it ran DBD just fine on ultra 2 years ago. Now, it stutters sometimes and runs the game at like 30-40 fps. My desktop has no problems as of now.
