There is currently hackers using what others are calling a DDOS attack on them after acquiring their IP thru the game.
Since its rumored that DBD runs on AMAZONAS servers, like most games do, it starts to make sense why we can't connect to websites hosted on those servers.
Yea but a DDOS attack wont prevent you from running and using OBS
Yea but... a hacker doesn't have to stop at just one type of attack. All these other issues I have only ever seen after being affected by a hacker in DBD.
I've had my audio altered drastically before.
I've had glitches inserted into one of my DBD accounts and not the others on the same computer.
I've been prevented from connecting to youtube before, for months, after an encounter.
I've been prevented from connecting to amazon until reboot, which today's is a bit worse. It was working yesterday.
And many more that I just can't think of off the top of my head at this moment.
All while using a VPN and also when not.
I've seen too many actual hackers to think they are ghosts and glitches. And when there is one hack, I have to attribute everything else to that hacker, cause its all nefarious counter-play.
But basically if hackers have access to your OBS they have access to your whole computer.
I don't think you read my original post. But thanks for the thought. My router is in a room of its own. No kitchen appliances nearby.
And they were messing with my headphone software last year.
And... this post was originally supposed to be about how Wesker was moving during the intro of the match. He hit me before I was allowed to move.
For people to mess around with your software, they would need acess to your computer.
Which is hardly possible unless you download and open a designated file to gain acess to your computer.
Maybe thats true... but idk how to remove it.
Thats all we can do when it seems way too suspicious.
BHVR needs to record the actions and xyz locations and view direction of players so they can play them back and verify easily that something is way off. Cause for us to submit videos is a ridiculous amount of time that we could have been playing instead. Sure it sounds simple, but its time consuming to say the least.
I am glad that in this last year BHVR has caught 6x more hackers than in the past!!! I hope it means they are trying to catch them harder and not that there are that many more hackers. lol. Either way, glad they were caught. Even though I see adverts on eBay for hacks that nullify punishment. Hoping BHVR shuts those ones down too.
Hackers aren't fun tho.
idc how funny some hacks were, they were never intended to give the opposition any strength. Cheating in an online versus game is bad form. It takes whatever goal the opposing player/s had away, and makes them lose add ons, offerings, and time spent trying to complete goals.
He wanted my attention, but i went afk for 20 minutes. I cam back and he throwed hatches to me. Went afk for another 5 minutes and just see a game over screen.
