no network connection

ive been trying for more than an hour to play the game and i've gotten the "no network connection" error every single time :( i tried to follow every tutorial on how to fix it but nothing seems to work. what can i do in this situation?? pls help

I had the same issue along side with "Wrong game version" for me after reseting my router and contacting to my internet provider it kind of fixed itself. Perhaps try those first.

Heres the list of things i did :

-Attempting to update the game but no new version exists
-Verify the files
-Make sure the system's date is correct
-Close steam / pc
-Reinstall the entire game
-Update windows driver that just came out
-Delete game files and verify
-Make sure the internet works in the first place

One of those did the trick.

Also a side note : If you play soloQ survivor you do recive "An error occurred" or sometimes after a killer match you also recieve "An unknown error occurred" . Those 2 are fine and normal apparently.

I got the "no network connection" 'bug' after facing hackers a week or so ago.
I got it again last night.

My game was all connected correctly.
I try to invite a friend, then my steam network goes down.
I do some tricks to reactivate my steam network, by opening my library in steam.
Then my DBD says it loses connection. So I restart DBD.
Then my Internet pretends to go down, but I'm still connected on steam.
DBD is working again.
Then I can't connect to AMAZONAS servers, Amazon, nor eBay, etc.
I close my browser.
I send an invite again to a friend in DBD to join my game.
Then while msg chatting with them on steam, steam network goes down again.
I restart the steam network by opening my library again thru steam.
Then DBD disconnects again.
I decide to update all my software just in case it has been breached while storing and running code. I do find an app that is in use and update it to current. It requires a restart.
I also Reboot.
Everything seems to be working.

Then today, just now, I get into a match and right as my character is released from the start match spin, I can hear Wesker Virulent Bounding right at me and hits me right before I am able to start moving. I start to putter off in a run, but he hits me before I take 2 steps, and starts to carry me off. I feel this is cheap and it doesn't seem correct that Killer is able to down me before I am able to move and DC.

My video didn't record the sound, and I couldn't get the mic to become audible.

I had a hacker get back up and walk sideways every time I hit them. He was the last person I needed to hook since I hooked the others. He then disconnected my game.

wow... now thats some gall from a hacker!
