off the record broken
can someone explain to me how "off the record" is not the most broken perk in this game, it is more broken than old deadhard and DS
can Behaviour please wake up and fix this cancer of a perk, and when u try not to tunnel and go for the one who saved them they body block, so u decide to tunnel, and god forbid you do that and break the survivor rule book, they go swarming your profile with toxic comments.

They lose the protection the moment they do anything useful for the team. If they try to use it as a bodyblock tool, then they buy themselves only a few seconds before they're back on to their second hook.

Basically this. If OTR didn't have the condition that turns it off, it'd be stronger than Dead Hard and Decisive Strike put together. Which is why it does.
Just like you would with Borrowed time and its base kit equivalent, if they block you hit them and put them on hook again if you have to. If they choose to use their defensive perk in that offensive manner they deserve the punishment. The perk is fine, no need to worry about it.

It does NOT deactivate endurance if someone ELSE heals you though. So you can let another survivor heal you, and still retain endurance until you unhook, heal someone yourself, or do a gen

I think you're really missing the point.

That is up to 80(!) seconds of them doing absolutely nothing. No gen regression or slowdown perk on the Killer's side buys even half of that amount of time of total shutdown on a Survivor. And if they want to use it as an aggressive tool, then they have placed their likely injured body with Deep Wound state right in arm's reach; they can't use Dead Hard, a Styptic Medkit, or anything else to save them from going right back on to second hook state.

If they let someone else heal them, then that person had to sit through the heal animation to then see a Survivor teabag in a corner doing nothing for 80 seconds.

Except none of those stop you from doing anything useful. Off the record doesn't allow you to do anything without stopping the effect.

I was specifically talking on the situation you yourself wrote about in your post. People body blocking for their unhooker. Which is such a non issue, the perk itself only hinders you in the instance of you attempting to tunnel someone out. All other instances the perk either, doesn't do anything, or it wastes more of the survivors time. Even if said survivor gets healed they then have to hunt you down again before you finish the chase you're in, get in the way, and still some how take two health states worth of damage in the likely less then 30 seconds of time they have left on the perk. It is not an issue.

If you don’t want to tunnel, but they give you a free down… that’s on them. Take the W and let them learn from their mistake.
