As soon as you start, scan for a decent 3-5 gen area you can defend and place your traps at points where survivors will travel often. Don’t put them in obvious spots, like next to generators, as survivors can stealthily disarm them or even ignore them as they work. The key is to chase survivors into your web. If they attempt to make you chase them outside of the web, drop chase and patrol your territory as you destroy their resources in the area.
Most importantly: practice. You’ll learn to play Hag as you do more matches with her, and you’ll definitely want to take notes when you verse her as survivor.
You’ll want to look up YouTubers like Negoose and Michi for great tips as well.
She is fairly, weak as a killer, unless you play 3 gens and she camps the hooks you get. Her lack of speed is a big issue. Faster transfer time add ons help.
Because she is slow, try "Fearmonger" Perk. Perks like Tinkerer (Billy) and Trail of Torment, (Pyramid head) can help get her in without being seen. anotehr is Monitor and Abuse ( Docotr). Becasue she is show like Huntress, but no range weapon to compensate).
Defeintely, do not were anything bright as a skin. She needs not to be seen to compensate fo t he speed issue.
Here is one i played with Hag. Not my main and I play her very rarely: The video is part of a set, where we try to show the killer and what they do, rather than win the game.

What you can see is the power to control 3 gens in close proximity.

I don't think so. They are not the same, just have some similar properties.
I woudl say its better to learn Hag as Hag.
Here are two games as a trapper. I did main trapper for a few years. But these videos are more about showing the mechanics of trapper, than winning the games:

They key is controlling 3 gens and the areas. I would mostly say you miefield between 2 and patrol the 3rd.
Good luck.
